Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Chevrolet Traverse?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay patient.

• Deal availability: 36.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 6,269 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.31% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 84.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $29,167, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Chevrolet Traverse's resale value?

The current average of $29,167 sits slightly below last year's $32,521.

That price movement suggests the Traverse has become more affordable for buyers, which can help you if you're shopping now but may temper future resale gains if you sell soon. For a future seller, the current market shows that value has already adjusted downward, so pricing your vehicle competitively will matter. Strong owner satisfaction can still help support demand when it is time to list.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Chevrolet Traverse or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 36.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.31% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $24,318, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $29,167 average.
• It offers practical space and easy-to-use tech for families.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $37,217, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $29,167 average.
• It adds more space and more standard driver aids.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the best all-around choice if you want strong owner satisfaction, solid inventory, and a softer price than last year. If your priority is spending less, the 2022 is the better value play; if you want the newer-generation upgrades, the 2024 is the step up to consider.
