Used 2023 Chevrolet Blazer for Sale nearGrand Rapids, MI

How much does the 2023 Chevrolet Blazer cost?

Prices have softened 4.81% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,589 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Chevrolet Blazer a good car?

Yes — owners rate it 5/5, and the expert rating is 7.2/10. The standout strength is Look and feel at 9/10.

Owners consistently praise the sporty design, comfort, and power, and they also call out the roomy interior and quiet ride. That lines up with the Blazer’s use case as a two-row midsize SUV for you if you want a polished, road-focused alternative rather than something rugged.

The trade-offs are clear: the ride and handling are described as fairly pedestrian, and fuel economy is poor. Even so, the Blazer’s style, comfort, and available power help it stand out if you value everyday refinement and a more upscale feel.

Good and great deals account for 35.4% of listings, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2023 Chevrolet Blazer reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owners’ feedback points to a dependable-feeling SUV with a strong reputation for comfort, power, and trouble-free everyday use. The review summary also highlights the roomy interior and quiet ride, which are the kinds of traits that usually matter when you plan to keep a vehicle for the long term.

The expert evaluation also emphasizes that the Blazer is built for pavement-focused use and delivers a well-tuned, composed driving experience. Chevy’s three-year, 36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty and five-year, 60,000-mile powertrain warranty provide typical mainstream-brand coverage.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that higher-spec versions can be expensive to run if you want the stronger engine and more equipment.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Chevrolet Blazer?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a proper records review. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on wear, electronics, and any signs of uneven maintenance. Condition matters especially if you are shopping for a higher-trim example with more equipment.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup includes 2LT, 3LT, Premier, and RS, and the higher trims bring a more upscale look and feel. Leather upholstery is available on higher trims, while the base setup is more straightforward, so you should compare equipment carefully if you want the best value.
• Powertrain: Most models use a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 228 horsepower, while the RS gets a naturally aspirated 3.6-liter V6 with 308 horsepower and the 3LT and Premier can be optioned with it. The V6 adds stronger acceleration, but the content also notes that the Blazer is not a performance SUV.
• Safety package: The standard Chevy Safety Assist Package includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian braking, a following distance indicator, forward collision warning, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, and automatic high beams. Adaptive cruise control is available on the 2LT and 3LT, while other features such as blind spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are optional.
• Infotainment: A 10.2-inch touchscreen is standard, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, and wireless device charging is available on all trim levels. RS and Premier also get an 8-inch display, built-in navigation, and an eight-speaker Bose audio system.
• Fuel efficiency: Four-cylinder models are rated at 22 mpg city and 29 mpg highway with FWD, while V6 models are rated at 19 mpg city and 27 mpg highway with FWD.

Which 2023 Chevrolet Blazer trim should I buy?

The 2023 Chevrolet Blazer is offered in 4 trim levels: 2LT, 3LT, Premier, and RS.

Here's the short version:

• 2LT: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core Blazer experience with the standard 10.2-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and the standard safety suite. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the lineup and do not need the extra luxury or power features.
• 3LT: This trim is the best-value choice if you want a stronger mix of equipment and flexibility, because it can be optioned with the V6 and adds access to more available comfort and safety content. It is the trim to focus on if you want a more complete Blazer without jumping all the way to the top.
• Premier: This is the more upscale choice, with built-in navigation, the 8-inch driver display, and the Bose audio system. It suits you if you want a more premium-feeling daily driver and are willing to pay for it.
• RS: This is the style-forward, top-spec choice, and it comes with the V6 standard along with the most distinctive appearance. It is the one to choose if you want the strongest visual presence and the most powerful standard setup.

Adaptive cruise control is now available on the 2LT and 3LT, while other advanced safety features remain optional rather than standard.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Chevrolet Blazer?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,589 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.81% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 83.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $26,527, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Chevrolet Blazer's resale value?

The current average of $26,527 sits slightly below last year's $27,866.

That price movement suggests the Blazer has softened enough to be more attractive to used buyers today, but not so much that it looks distressed. If you buy well now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation compared with a vehicle that is still priced above its recent trend.

For a future seller, the key is to keep the vehicle clean, well-documented, and in strong cosmetic condition, because shoppers in this segment respond to presentation. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Chevrolet Blazer safe?

The 2023 Chevrolet Blazer earns Good ratings in all six IIHS crash-test categories, plus Superior and Advanced ratings for front-crash prevention in vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-pedestrian testing. It earns a five-star overall rating from NHTSA, with five-star ratings in frontal and side crash tests and four-star ratings in rollover testing.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

The standard Chevy Safety Assist Package includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian braking, forward collision warning, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, a following distance indicator, and automatic high beams. Adaptive cruise control is available on the 2LT and 3LT, while blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, rear park assist, a 360-degree camera system, rear camera mirror, a Safety Alert vibrating driver seat, and Teen Driver monitoring are optional.

One caveat is that advanced safety features are not standard across the lineup, so you should check the exact equipment on any used listing you consider.

Should I buy a 2023 Chevrolet Blazer or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.81% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2023 adds a new 10-inch touchscreen and available wireless charging across the lineup.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $23,024, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $26,527 average.
• It emphasizes sporty styling and straightforward tech.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2023 if you want the newer tech, broader feature availability, and stronger market selection. If your priority is simply spending less, the 2022 is the better value path, especially if you can live without the 2023 updates.
