How much does the 2023 Cadillac CT4 cost?

There are 533 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2023 Cadillac CT4 a good car?

The 2023 Cadillac CT4 stands out as a compact luxury sedan with a distinctly American personality. Its front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout gives it a true sport-sedan character, and the stiff chassis helps reinforce that feel. Cadillac’s design language is also a major part of the appeal: the CT4’s jagged shape, blocky proportions, and T-shaped lighting make it look unlike the softer, more conventional sedans around it.

For you, the appeal is in the mix of sporty handling, distinctive styling, and available technology. The CT4’s range of trims and powertrains gives you flexibility, and by 2023 it included wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, standard forward-collision warning and automatic emergency braking, and available Super Cruise.

There are tradeoffs, though. The base model is described as sluggish, and the back seat is cramped. Even so, 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a decent chance to find value if you shop carefully.

Is the 2023 Cadillac CT4 reliable?

The 2023 Cadillac CT4 stands out as a compact luxury sedan with a distinctly American personality. Its front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout gives it a true sport-sedan character, and the stiff chassis helps reinforce that feel. Cadillac’s design language is also a major part of the appeal: the CT4’s jagged shape, blocky proportions, and T-shaped lighting make it look unlike the softer, more conventional sedans around it.

For you, that means the CT4’s appeal is rooted more in character, handling, and equipment than in a simple commuter-car formula. The model’s broad set of drive modes and available driver-assistance technology adds to its modern feel, while the base model’s sluggishness and cramped back seat are the main compromises to keep in mind.

For long-term ownership, you should be prepared to prioritize maintenance and condition, especially if you want to avoid paying extra for a neglected example.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Cadillac CT4?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 81.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, even if a listing looks clean on paper. Put inspection priority on signs of prior damage, uneven wear, and any evidence that the car has been repaired poorly or maintained inconsistently.

Focus on overall condition as much as equipment, since the CT4’s appeal depends on how well it delivers its sporty, premium feel. A well-kept example is the one most likely to feel worth the money.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Cadillac CT4?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay disciplined.

• Deal availability: 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 533 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.04% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 81.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $29,250, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Cadillac CT4's resale value?

The current average of $29,663 sits slightly below last year's $30,912.

That price movement suggests the CT4 has softened enough to give you a better entry point than a year ago. If you buy well now, you may have less downside risk than someone who paid closer to last year’s average.

For a future seller, the key will be condition and mileage. A clean, well-maintained CT4 should hold up better than a neglected one, especially since shoppers in this segment tend to compare value closely against other premium compact sedans.

Should I buy a 2023 Cadillac CT4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 81.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.04% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2023 CT4 makes sense if you want the current-year balance of price, inventory, and clean listings, especially if you value its sporty character and distinctive styling. If you’re more price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby model years and focus on the cleanest, best-priced example rather than chasing the newest badge.
