Overview

The 2023 Audi RS 7 Sportback is functionality done fast. The fastback design provides 19 cubic feet of cargo space under the wide-opening rear hatch. This cargo space can be expanded to 49 cubic feet with the split-fold rear seats folded flat.
The RS 7 is based on the Audi A7, which was fully redesigned in 2019. The latest RS 7—the second iteration of the high-performance 5-door hatchback—arrived in 2021. It carries over to the 2023 model year largely unchanged, with the exception of a few updates.
The RS 7 is offered in a single, well-equipped trim. Standard features include leather upholstery, heated front seats, a fully digital instrument panel, wireless device charging, a Bang & Olufsen premium stereo system, and a dual-screen center console setup. The lower screen operates the climate controls and vehicle settings, while the upper screen is home to the infotainment system, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Audi offers a number of packages, including the Individual Contour Seat package. It costs $1,500 and adds ventilated, massaging front seats. The Executive Package costs $2,500 and includes a head-up display and heated rear seats. For 2023, this package has gained a self-park function and a headliner of black Dinamica (an ecological suede).
The RS7 boasts a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine which makes 591 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque. Power is routed through an eight-speed automatic transmission to Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive. It’s good for a zero-to-60 time of just 3.5 seconds, on the way to a top speed of 155 mph. The top speed can optionally be raised to 190 mph, requiring the optional carbon-ceramic disc brakes. This potent setup also returns fuel economy of 15 mpg city, 22 highway, and 17 combined. Of course, premium fuel is required. Cornering is aided by four-wheel steering, a limited-slip rear differential, performance brakes, and four-wheel air suspension
Standard driver-assistance features include automatic emergency braking, forward collision avoidance, lane-departure warning, and front and rear parking sensors. A Driver Assistance Package can be had for $2,250 and adds adaptive cruise control, traffic-sign recognition, and blind-spot monitoring. For 2023, Remote Park Assist has been added to the Executive Package. It can let the RS 7 park or unpark itself with the owner outside the vehicle. This system works in both parallel and perpendicular parking spots.
The 2023 Audi RS 7 has a base MSRP of $118,500 in its lone trim. Adding on all of the packages can about $10,000 to that price. The Audi RS 7 is backed by a four-year/50,000-mile limited warranty.
