Is the 2023 Audi Q7 a good car?

Generally — the 2023 Audi Q7 earns a 4/5 user rating, which points to solid overall satisfaction for this model year. The overview shows a three-row luxury SUV that balances a clean, understated design with practical family-hauling ability, comfortable front and second-row seating, and useful cargo space. It is especially appealing if you want upscale cabin quality, strong all-around driving character, and available towing strength, while the third row is best suited to children. The market also looks supportive, with 41.8% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2023 Audi Q7 reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview describes reliability as average, with repair costs that are relatively high and premium fuel adding to ownership expense. It also notes that the Q7’s technology and safety equipment improved over time, but headlight performance was consistently poor through 2023. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is manageable, but you should budget carefully for upkeep and be selective about condition.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Audi Q7?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and confirm the specific car’s maintenance record before you commit. Put inspection priority on overall condition, especially wear items, electronics, and any signs of prior damage or deferred maintenance. Because ownership costs can run higher on this model, focus on examples that look well cared for rather than simply chasing the lowest sticker price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Audi Q7?

• Deal availability: 41.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,571 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.55% compared with last year.

What is the 2023 Audi Q7's resale value?

The current average of $34,914 sits slightly below last year's $39,924.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. For future sellers, the current pricing trend means condition, mileage, and equipment will matter even more when it comes time to list. Well-kept examples should still attract interest, but you should expect buyers to compare carefully against similarly priced alternatives.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Audi Q7 or consider a different year?
