Why it stands out
The 2022 Toyota Tacoma maintains its legacy as a reliable and versatile midsize pickup truck. Its roots in off-road capability make it appealing to buyers looking for adventure, thanks to features like Multi-Terrain Select and Crawl Control available on TRD models. With both Access Cab and Double Cab configurations, it offers utility for both work and play, although the rear seating may feel cramped for adults. The Tacoma's robust build is complemented by a strong V6 engine option, generating 278 horsepower, which significantly enhances its performance compared to the base four-cylinder engine. While it shows some signs of aging with interior materials that might not meet modern standards, the Tacoma still delivers on practicality and safety features, such as a standard suite of driver assistance technologies.

It has every feature I was looking for except BSM. Definitely a good value compared to others with the same opinions and miles. There really isnt any other models out there to compare it too. It is an awesome truck.

We have owned it 4 days. The Tacoma has great reviews and is very reliable. The V6 engine has enough power and still gets decent gas mileage.

I was specific about the features my Tacoma needed and this truck has them all. It would be nice to play some CDs but I have books on USB, so I can listen to those. Rust proofing is the only thing that I’ll need from a shop who does that. I’m enjoying the truck. I don’t know enough about other trucks to give a comparison. Thank you

It was in nice condition and low miles. But the I4 engine is horribly underpowered. And the lack of any back seats is not good. This is a very basic model - probably needs to be priced lower to sell.
