Why it stands out
The 2022 Toyota GR86 distinguishes itself as a dynamic small sports car that prioritizes driving enjoyment above all else. Built under Toyota's Gazoo Racing performance division, the GR86 features a more robust engine and improved handling dynamics compared to its predecessor, the Toyota 86. Its sleek design is complemented by advanced technology, including an intuitive 8-inch touchscreen and a modern digital instrument cluster. While the car excels in delivering an engaging driving experience with its rear-wheel drive and low curb weight, it also faces criticisms regarding limited rear-seat space and the optional nature of advanced safety features. Nevertheless, with its excellent powertrain and agile handling, the GR86 remains a top choice for enthusiasts seeking fun on the road.

It is beautiful, well built high quality feel both interior and exterior. It has excellent power to take off from a stop, as well as to launch to quickly pass slow drivers on the highway. It handles corners easily at higher speeds. It actually handles fine in excessive rain and ponding of water. It is a very fun car to drive and the MSRP was very affordable
