Amazing drive and great turning. The interior is very beautiful and it’s electric meaning you don’t have to worry about gas.

I recently had the pleasure of acquiring a 2022 Porsche Taycan GTS from Annamaria at Porsche South Shore in Long Island, New York, and the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The 2022 Porsche Taycan GTS is a true marvel of engineering. The instant torque, combined with the smooth acceleration of an electric powertrain, creates an unparalleled driving experience. The design is not only aerodynamic but also exudes a perfect blend of sportiness and sophistication. Its a head-turner on the road, and the driving dynamics are simply electrifying.

Great car. Smaller rear seats than usual but definitely a drivers car. It handles like youd expect in a Porsche. The tech is amazing. Overwhelming if you are a tech enthusiast. But overall, I LOVE this car.

The Porsche Taycan represents a milestone for the famed performance-luxury brand from Stuttgart: It is Porsche’s first-ever electric vehicle and delivers thrilling zero-emission driving dynamics. The Taycan is available as a coupe-like sedan or as a wagon. Dubbed the “Sport Turismo” and the more off-road-inspired “Cross Turismo,” the wagon variants provide up to 42.8 cubic feet of cargo space.

The Taycan sedan sports a low-slung four-door coupe design that looks like a cross between a 911 Carrera and a Panamera. It has between 12.9 and 14.3 cubic feet of trunk space depending on the model. All variants have a frunk (front-trunk) that provides 2.8 cubic feet of additional cargo space.

While many EVs go for a fully futuristic interior design, the Taycan’s cabin bears a strong resemblance to the rest of the contemporary Porsche family. Though it stays within this familiar aesthetic, the Taycan still stands out from its stablemates with its plentiful offering of screens. It features a fully digital instrument panel, a dual-screen center console, and an available passenger-side screen. The Taycan also comes equipped with heated seats, dual-zone climate control, wireless device charging, and four USB ports.

Trims for the Taycan include the base, 4, 4S, GTS, Turbo, and Turbo S. The base Taycan features a single electric motor at the rear wheels that produces 321 horsepower and can be overboosted to 400 hp. The 4S features dual electric motors that combine to put out 429 horsepower or can be overboosted to 522 horsepower. The Taycan GTS has a max output of 590 overboosted horsepower, and the Taycan Turbo has 670 overboosted horsepower. The range-topping Taycan Turbo S has dual motors that put out a combined 670 horsepower, which can be overboosted to 760 horsepower.

The Taycan S has the longest range, providing 227 miles. The base Taycan has the shortest range, at 201 miles, but makes up for it with a blistering 2.9-second zero-to-sixty time.

The EPA uses a miles per gallon of gasoline equivalent (MPGe) metric for evaluating electric vehicles. Based on the body style and trim, the Taycan’s MPGe varies. The most efficient is the Taycan 4S Performance Battery, returning 79 combined MPGe, and the least efficient is the Turbo S, returning 70 combined MPGe.

The Taycan comes equipped with a host of driver assistance features, including automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning, automatic high beams, lane-departure warning, traffic-sign recognition, and front-and-rear parking sensors. Available safety features include night vision, a head-up display, blind-spot monitoring, and adaptive cruise control.

Base MSRP for the 2022 Porsche Taycan Turbo is $82,700. The Cross Turismo starts at $93,700, and the GTS Sport Turismo starts at $133,300. The Taycan Turbo starts at $150,900, and the Turbo S starts at $185,000. The range-topping Turbo S Cross Turismo starts at $187,600. The Taycan’s electric and powertrain components are backed by an eight-year/100,000-mile warranty.
