How much does the 2022 Honda Pilot cost?

Prices have softened 10.16% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,871 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2022 Honda Pilot a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Honda Pilot earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its spacious interior, smooth ride, and quiet cabin, and they also value the comfort-focused features that make it appealing for families. That fits well with its role as a practical three-row SUV built around everyday usability and passenger-friendly packaging. With 37.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Honda Pilot reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that many drivers feel good about living with over time, especially because they describe it as comfortable, quiet, and easy to use. The recurring praise for its spacious cabin and smooth ride suggests a model that tends to deliver dependable day-to-day ownership. For used buyers, that usually means lower emotional risk if you prioritize a family SUV that should remain satisfying over the long haul.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Honda Pilot?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 76% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus your inspection on signs of prior damage, uneven wear, or inconsistent maintenance. Because some shoppers noted cheaper-feeling materials and missing features at this price point, it also makes sense to check cabin condition and confirm the equipment you want is actually present. A careful test drive should help you judge ride quality, cabin noise, and whether the vehicle feels as well kept as the listing suggests.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Honda Pilot?

This looks like a moderate buyer’s market, so you can be selective without expecting deep discounts on every listing.

• Deal availability: 37.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,871 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.16% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 76.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $27,724, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Honda Pilot's resale value?

The current average of $27,724 sits slightly below last year's $30,859.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. For future resale, the key question is how well the vehicle holds buyer interest after you own it. A model with broad family appeal and strong comfort credentials can stay relevant, especially when shoppers continue to value practicality over flash.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Honda Pilot or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 37.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 76% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.16% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $24,434, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $27,724 average.
• It emphasizes practicality, comfort, and easy-to-use tech.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $35,728, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $27,724 average.
• It brings a full redesign with more power and a more rugged look.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, satisfaction, and available inventory, the 2022 is the primary pick. If you want to spend less, the 2021 is the smarter value play; if you want a newer redesign and can stretch your budget, the 2023 is the upgrade path.
