How much does the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E cost?

Prices have softened 7.02% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,997 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E a good car?

Generally — the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E earns a 4.3/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its outstanding performance, smooth driving experience, and stylish design, and many also like the tech features and extensive charging network. For you, that means this model fits especially well if you want an electric SUV that feels engaging without giving up everyday usability. With 40.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market also gives you room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E reliable?

Owners rate it 4.3/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle many drivers find reliable, dependable, and trouble-free enough to recommend over the long term. That said, used EV ownership still rewards careful screening, especially when you’re buying a model with known issue history. For you, the main long-term risk is making sure the specific car you choose has been maintained and checked thoroughly before you commit.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report on any listing you’re serious about, even when the clean-title share is high. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on battery-related concerns, charging behavior, and overall electrical system health. It also makes sense to pay close attention to cosmetic and interior condition, since those details can reveal how carefully the car was used.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E?

This is a buyer-friendly market, with softer pricing and a healthy mix of inventory to choose from.

• Deal availability: 40.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,997 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.02% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 90.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $25,197, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E's resale value?

The current average of $26,259 sits slightly below last year's $28,240.

That kind of price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also temper near-term resale upside. If you plan to sell later, the strongest value retention will likely come from a well-kept example with clean history and strong condition. A lower entry price today can also help you limit depreciation exposure if you buy carefully.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.3/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 40.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.02% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.3/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $23,053, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $26,259 average.
• It offers a bold first-year take on Ford’s electric SUV formula.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $29,757, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $26,259 average.
• It adds more range and enhanced BlueCruise tech.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2022 if you want the best balance of price, owner satisfaction, and market availability. If your budget is tighter, the 2021 is the better value play, while the 2023 makes sense if you want the newer updates and are willing to pay more.
