What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Ford F-350 Super Duty?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a thorough inspection of the truck’s condition and maintenance record. It also makes sense to compare trim and equipment carefully so you know whether the truck matches the way you plan to use it.

What is the 2022 Ford F-350 Super Duty's resale value?

The current average of $54,657 sits slightly below last year's $57,322.

That softer pricing can help you buy more carefully now, but it also means future resale will depend heavily on how well the truck holds its value from here. If prices stabilize, sellers who bought at today’s levels may have a better chance of limiting depreciation than buyers who paid closer to the prior-year average. Strong demand for capable heavy-duty trucks can also help support resale, especially for well-kept examples with desirable equipment.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.71/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Ford F-350 Super Duty or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 31.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.65% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.71/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $49,661, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $54,657 average.
• It offers serious towing strength and a refresh that improved capability and technology.

The bottom line: If you want the newer year with strong owner satisfaction and a healthier mix of clean listings, the 2022 is the better all-around pick. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2021 is the smarter value play, especially if you can find one with the right configuration and condition.
