Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with a history report to confirm accident status, title history, and any signs of heavy commercial use. Should I buy a 2022 Ford F-250 Super Duty or consider a different year?

• Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.70% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.88/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $46,115, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $49,160 average.
• It emphasizes huge power and broad work-truck flexibility.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $56,588, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $49,160 average.
• It adds modest styling updates and thoughtful tech improvements.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the best all-around pick if you want strong owner satisfaction, a softer price than last year, and a broad mix of listings to choose from. If your priority is saving money, the 2021 is the better value path; if you want to spend more for a newer take with incremental upgrades, the 2023 is the alternative to compare.
