How much does the 2022 Dodge Durango cost?

Is the 2022 Dodge Durango a good car?

Yes — the 4.86/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the Durango’s powerful performance, smooth ride, and spacious interior, and they also like its stylish design and high-tech features. For you, that means it fits especially well if you want three-row practicality without giving up a more muscular driving character. With 34.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2022 Dodge Durango reliable?

Owners rate it 4.86/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback highlights a vehicle that feels powerful, smooth, and spacious, which often lines up with a satisfying ownership experience over time. That said, the model’s broader reputation includes reliability concerns, so used buyers should pay close attention to maintenance history and condition. For long-term ownership, your risk is lower when you choose a well-documented example and avoid neglected vehicles.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Dodge Durango?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 82.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then confirm the vehicle’s maintenance records and any prior damage claims. A pre-purchase inspection is especially important here, since condition can vary widely across listings. Focus on signs of careful ownership, because a clean-looking Durango can still hide expensive issues if it has been poorly maintained.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Dodge Durango?

This is a moderate market for buyers, so you can be selective without expecting deep discounts on every listing.

• Deal availability: 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

If you find a listing below $30,304, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Dodge Durango's resale value?

The current average of $30,304 sits slightly below last year's $32,815.

That softer pricing can help you buy more efficiently now, but it also suggests the market has already adjusted downward. If you plan to resell later, your return will depend heavily on how well you preserve condition and documentation. Strong demand for well-kept examples can help offset some depreciation, especially when the vehicle has broad appeal and a loyal buyer base.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.86/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Dodge Durango or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 82.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.65% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.86/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $26,927, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $30,304 average.
• It adds a new infotainment system and available SRT Hellcat power.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $33,541, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $30,304 average.
• It adds standard heated front seats and brings back the Hellcat as a regular model.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the best all-around pick if you want a balanced mix of price, inventory, and owner satisfaction. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2021 is the smarter value play; if you want the newer feature set and can spend more, the 2023 is the upgrade path to watch.
