There are 1,035 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of used examples to compare.

Is the 2022 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.5/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Form and function at 9/10.

The data points to a family-focused plug-in hybrid that delivers three-row space, strong efficiency, and useful technology. It is a seven-passenger model with 32 miles of electric range and 30 mpg in combined driving, so it fits you well if you want to cut fuel costs without giving up minivan practicality.

The trade-offs are clear: it is uninspired in styling and boring to drive, and its adaptive cruise control is unrefined. Even so, it remains a compelling choice if you value utility and efficiency more than driving excitement.

44.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2022 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview and expert evaluation both frame this Pacifica Hybrid as a practical, efficiency-first family vehicle with a well-rounded feature set. Its plug-in hybrid system is described as effortless and efficient, and the powertrain automatically manages its settings so you can simply shift into Drive and go.

It also supports easy overnight charging from a standard household outlet, which makes regular use straightforward if you keep it plugged in. Chrysler says a Pacifica Hybrid can save you about $2,250 in fuel costs over five years compared with a typical new vehicle.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the concept and more about whether the vehicle has been maintained and charged consistently enough to preserve its efficiency advantage.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the vehicle history report carefully and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a plug-in hybrid with a complex powertrain. Focus on overall condition, charging behavior, and whether the vehicle’s equipment works as intended, since this model leans heavily on technology and convenience features.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Touring L starts at $49,095, the Limited costs $54,095, and the Pinnacle reaches $57,645. The Limited adds more equipment, including the standard Harman Kardon audio system and the surround-view camera system, while the Touring L already gets the parking assist system. The best-value trim is the Limited if you want the strongest mix of equipment and value.
• Powertrain: The plug-in hybrid setup pairs a 3.6-liter V6 with a dual-motor electric drive system and a 16-kWh battery pack. Total output is 260 horsepower, and the van can travel up to 32 miles on electricity before the gasoline engine takes over.
• Safety package: Every 2022 Pacifica has a complete package of standard driver-assist and collision-avoidance features. Standard equipment includes adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability and lane-keeping assist, but you cannot get adaptive cruise control paired with lane-centering assist.
• Infotainment: Uconnect 5 uses a 10.1-inch touchscreen and includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, simultaneous Bluetooth pairing for two devices, SiriusXM satellite radio, Amazon Alexa compatibility, connected services, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. FamCam is available, and the system supports five user profiles.
• Fuel efficiency: The Pacifica Hybrid is rated at 30 mpg combined, and it can travel up to 32 miles on electric power alone. On a driving loop, it returned 37.1 mpg.

Which 2022 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid trim should I buy?

The 2022 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid is offered in 3 trim levels: Touring L, Limited, Pinnacle.

Here's the short version:

• Touring L: This is the entry point, but it still brings strong value because the Pacifica Hybrid is already well equipped and efficient. If you want the lowest starting price and the core plug-in hybrid experience, this is the trim to start with.
• Limited: This is the best-value trim because it adds meaningful convenience and tech upgrades, including the standard surround-view camera system and the Harman Kardon audio system. It is the trim that best balances equipment and price.
• Pinnacle: This is the top trim and is the one to choose if you want the most upscale version of the Pacifica Hybrid. It sits above the Limited and is aimed at buyers who want the most premium presentation.

Every 2022 Pacifica has a complete package of standard driver-assist and collision-avoidance features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid?

This looks like a buyer-friendly moment if you want a used Pacifica Hybrid and are willing to shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 44.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,035 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.34% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 86.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,559, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $22,559 sits slightly below last year's $27,969.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle. For a future seller, it means you should expect pricing pressure unless your vehicle is especially clean, well equipped, and documented.

Because this model is a niche plug-in hybrid minivan, condition and equipment matter a lot when it comes time to resell. A well-kept example with strong history and desirable features should be easier to move than one with visible wear or incomplete records.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid safe?

The Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid earns a Top Safety Pick+ safety rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and a five-star overall safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. In the NHTSA crash tests, frontal-impact protection rates four stars, which is the only concern across all of the Pacifica’s individual scores from both organizations.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Every 2022 Pacifica has a complete package of standard driver-assist and collision-avoidance features, including adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability and lane-keeping assist. Chrysler also added a rear-seat reminder system for 2022, and the model includes a full safety and security feature set.

One caveat is that the adaptive cruise control is described as needing refinement, especially when traffic ahead changes speed or cuts into the gap. That means you should treat the driver-assistance system as helpful, but not fully polished.

Should I buy a 2022 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 44.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.34% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2022 adds more standard equipment and keeps the plug-in hybrid formula that makes it especially efficient for family use.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $24,068, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $22,559 average.
• It adds more tech and comforts while staying highly efficient.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2022 is the smarter buy because it combines a lower average price with strong deal availability and a favorable price trend. If you can stretch for a newer model and want the added refinement and features, the 2023 is the better secondary path.
