What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Chevrolet Spark?

At 68.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection if the car has any accident history. Focus on overall condition, including signs of bodywork, uneven wear, and how well the interior and mechanical components have been maintained. A clean-looking listing can still hide issues, so the best buys are the ones with clear records and consistent condition.

What is the 2022 Chevrolet Spark's resale value?

The current average of $13,599 sits slightly below last year's $13,970.

That tells you the market has softened a bit, which can limit upside if you plan to sell soon. On the other hand, the current pricing may help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. If demand stays steady, a well-kept Spark with clean history should remain easier to move than a neglected one.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Chevrolet Spark or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 68.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.66% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2022 is a sensible choice if you want a well-liked Spark with a softer price trend and a decent number of deal opportunities. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare it with nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-documented example rather than chasing the lowest sticker price alone.
