Is the 2022 Audi Q8 a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Audi Q8 earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. It stands out as Audi’s flagship SUV with a coupe-like shape, a more exclusive two-row layout, and a premium cabin that emphasizes style and refinement over maximum space. You also get a well-rounded powertrain and a useful amount of cargo room for the class, making it a fit if you want a luxury SUV that feels upscale and distinctive rather than purely practical. With 40.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market gives you some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2022 Audi Q8 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2022 Q8’s overview points to a premium SUV built around a strong standard powertrain, upscale materials, and a well-equipped feature set. Its appeal comes from a refined driving experience and a design that prioritizes luxury and road manners, which can be reassuring if you want a used SUV that feels substantial and thoughtfully finished. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a style-first luxury model can be more expensive to keep in top condition if prior maintenance was inconsistent.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Audi Q8?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a pre-purchase inspection that checks for signs of prior damage, uneven wear, or deferred maintenance. Pay close attention to the cabin and electronics, since this model leans heavily on touchscreen-based controls and premium features that should all work properly. It also makes sense to evaluate overall condition closely, because a luxury SUV like this tends to reward clean, well-kept examples.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Audi Q8?

This looks like a buyer-friendly market, with meaningful inventory and a solid share of discounted listings.

• Deal availability: 40.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 824 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.83% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $36,819, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Audi Q8's resale value?

The current average of $36,819 sits slightly below last year's $44,810.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you can reduce the impact of depreciation when it comes time to sell. A well-kept example should still appeal to shoppers who want a premium SUV with distinctive styling and a luxury-focused feel.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Audi Q8 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 40.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.83% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2022 Q8 is the right pick if you want the strongest mix of current pricing, inventory depth, and owner satisfaction in this group. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the best-maintained example rather than the newest badge, since the 2022 already shows a meaningful price drop and a healthy supply of listings.
