Overview
The Tesla Model X is the brand’s flagship electric crossover, competing against such cars as the Audi e-tron and Jaguar I-Pace. In keeping with Tesla’s “continuous improvements” practice, it gets some lovely updates for 2021. Inside, there is a new yoke-style steering wheel and a landscape-oriented touchscreen display.
Tesla offers the Model X in Long Range and Plaid versions. Both come with dual electric motors and all-wheel drive (AWD). The Long Range prioritizes mileage, and lets you go 360 miles on a charge and hit 60 mph in 4.4 seconds. Meanwhile, the Plaid sacrifices range in favor of speed. It now gets 341 miles on a charge and hits 60 mph in 2.6 seconds.
All Model Xs come standard with adaptive air suspension, self-closing and presenting "Falcon” doors, heated seats for every passenger, a heated steering wheel, wiper-blade defrosters, washer nozzle heaters, LED fog lamps, a panoramic windshield, auto-dimming heated side mirrors, and wireless phone charging. Your only options are 22-inch wheels and the choice of five-, six- or seven-person seating.
The Model X comes with Tesla’s Autopilot function as standard equipment, which encompasses automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and automated lane centering. You can add Full Self-Driving Capability, which lets your Model X automatically navigate highway interchanges, on- and off-ramps, change lanes, parallel and perpendicular park, stop and go based on traffic signals, and Tesla’s Summon feature. Unfortunately, neither the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has published crash-testing ratings for the Model X.
Tesla’s Model X benefits from big range increases this year, making it as attractive a proposition as ever.

Features were awesome, if only it came with all the extra perks that Tesla offer that we are charge a fee for. The only thing the car is missing is a better rim package, the black rims.

My favorite car in the world, Ive owned two model x vehicles. Pros in order... Safest vehicle around, autopilot features, faster than almost any car in the world, range, the enormous windshield, cool doors, interior space.

Absolutely amazing! The tech, the power, the handling, the comfort is all amazing. If I had to list one thing to be improved upon, its that there is a little wind noise at the upper front left and right window posts at speed.
