Used 2021 Lincoln Navigator for Sale nearSaint Louis, MO

How much does the 2021 Lincoln Navigator cost?

Prices have softened 16.16% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 918 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2021 Lincoln Navigator a good car?

Yes — the 2021 Lincoln Navigator earns a 4.75/5 user rating and a 7.67/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Look and feel at 9/10.

It comes across as a full-size luxury SUV that prioritizes a quiet cabin, premium interior materials, and a distinctly upscale atmosphere. The powerful engine and four-wheel-drive setup reinforce its appeal if you want a large, refined SUV with strong presence and comfortable seating.

The main trade-offs are poor fuel economy and sluggish touchscreen response, which can dull the premium experience a bit. If you want a spacious luxury SUV and can live with those compromises, this model year fits that use case well.

34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2021 Lincoln Navigator reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Navigator’s overall character points toward durability in the ways that matter to used buyers: it feels substantial, refined, and built for long-haul comfort. Its strong engine and quiet cabin support the impression of a well-sorted luxury SUV, while the expert evaluation also highlights its premium materials and confident highway demeanor.

The performance notes also emphasize that it responds faster than its size suggests and that its four-wheel-drive system behaves smoothly in low-speed turns and between drive modes. On the ownership side, Lincoln includes valet dropoff and pick-up at your home for four years of service, and Black Label trims add service visits plus unlimited car washes.

For used buyers, the biggest long-term risk is that depreciation is high and luxury-SUV upkeep can be costly if the vehicle has been neglected.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Lincoln Navigator?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 78.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the vehicle history report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a proper records review. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on electronics, cabin condition, and how the drivetrain and suspension feel on the road. Given the Navigator’s luxury positioning, you should also pay close attention to wear on interior materials and whether all convenience features work as expected.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Reserve adds more upscale equipment than the Standard, while Black Label trims step things up further with richer materials and softer leather. If you want the best value, the Reserve is the trim to focus on because it captures much of the Navigator’s luxury appeal without jumping to the highest-priced version.
• Powertrain: You get a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 with 450 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic and either rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. It delivers strong thrust, but fuel economy is poor at an EPA-estimated 17 mpg combined.
• Safety package: Automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, and auto high beams come standard. Adaptive cruise control is optional, and the Navigator will not self-steer and track highway lanes as competently as some rivals.
• Infotainment: The Navigator uses a 10-inch touchscreen, but it does not wirelessly connect to Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. It also lacks wireless software updates through the vehicle’s modem, though it does include onboard 4G WiFi, wireless device charging, and a smartwatch app.
• Fuel efficiency: The Navigator is rated at 17 mpg combined, with 16 mpg city and 20 mpg highway.

Which 2021 Lincoln Navigator trim should I buy?

The 2021 Lincoln Navigator is offered in 3 trim levels: Standard, Reserve, Black Label.

Here's the short version:

• Standard: This is the entry point, and it gives you the Navigator’s core luxury-SUV experience without pushing the price as high as the upper trims. It makes sense if you want the big cabin, strong engine, and standard safety equipment at the lowest starting cost.
• Reserve: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds more upscale equipment and sits in the sweet spot between price and luxury. If you want the Navigator’s premium feel without stretching to the top trim, this is the one to target.
• Black Label: This is the most luxurious version, with richer materials and more distinctive interior treatment. Choose it if you want the most upscale Navigator experience and are willing to pay for it.

Adaptive cruise control is optional, and the Navigator will not self-steer and track highway lanes as competently as some competitors.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Lincoln Navigator?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 918 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.16% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 78.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $37,662, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Lincoln Navigator's resale value?

The current average of $37,662 sits slightly below last year's $44,920.

That drop suggests the Navigator has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can be good news if you are buying now. For a future seller, it also means the market may remain price-sensitive, especially because large luxury SUVs tend to lose value quickly.

If you keep the vehicle in strong condition and maintain service records, you may be better positioned than owners who bought closer to the original new-vehicle price. The current pricing also suggests buyers are still willing to pay for the Navigator’s size, comfort, and luxury image, which helps support demand.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2021 Lincoln Navigator safe?

The 2021 Navigator earns five-star ratings overall from NHTSA, with five-star ratings in every test except rollover resistance, where it earns four-star ratings for 4WD models and three-star ratings for RWD models.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, and auto high beams come standard. Adaptive cruise control is optional, and the Navigator will not self-steer and track highway lanes as competently as some competitors.

One caveat is that the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has not rated the Navigator in its current generation. Knee airbags are not offered, though inflatable rear seat belts for the second row are optional.

Should I buy a 2021 Lincoln Navigator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 78.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.16% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It delivers a quiet, premium full-size luxury experience with strong power and a distinctly upscale cabin.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $33,937, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $37,662 average.
• It emphasizes comfort, capability, and Lincoln’s quiet-luxury approach.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $47,789, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $37,662 average.
• It brings styling, comfort, technology, safety, and driving-dynamics updates.

The bottom line: The 2021 is the right pick if you want the Navigator’s luxury, power, and comfort at a softened market price. If you are especially price-sensitive, the 2020 is the better value play; if you want newer updates and can spend more, the 2022 is the upgrade path.
