Used 2021 Lincoln Navigator for Sale nearBirmingham, AL

How much does the 2021 Lincoln Navigator cost?

Prices have softened 15.61% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 921 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of used Navigators to compare.

Is the 2021 Lincoln Navigator a good car?

Yes — it earns a 4.75/5 user rating and a 7.67/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Look and feel at 9/10.

The Navigator’s appeal comes through as a full-size luxury SUV with a quiet cabin, premium interior materials, and a distinctly upscale atmosphere. It also brings strong power from its twin-turbo V6 and a refined, spacious feel that suits buyers who want a large luxury SUV with presence.

The main trade-offs are poor fuel economy and sluggish touchscreen response. Those drawbacks matter most if you want efficiency or the quickest infotainment experience, but they do not erase the Navigator’s core strengths as a comfort-first luxury hauler.

Good and great deals account for 39.6% of listings, which suggests you have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2021 Lincoln Navigator reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Navigator’s overall package points to solid day-to-day dependability for buyers who prioritize comfort, power, and a premium cabin. Its strong engine and quiet highway demeanor support the sense that it is built for relaxed long-distance use, while the expert assessment also highlights its refined character and substantial capability.

The performance notes also point to a robust powertrain with strong low-end thrust and a smooth-shifting 10-speed automatic. On the ownership side, Lincoln includes valet dropoff and pick-up at your home for four years of service, and Black Label trims add service visits plus unlimited car washes and other benefits.

For used buyers, the bigger long-term risk is depreciation and the cost of keeping a large luxury SUV in top shape.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Lincoln Navigator?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 78.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a proper records review. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on electronics, cabin condition, and how the drivetrain and suspension feel on a test drive. Given the Navigator’s luxury positioning, small wear items and tech glitches can matter more than they would on a simpler SUV.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The cabin presentation changes meaningfully by trim, with the Reserve already feeling upscale and Black Label stepping up with richer textures, softer leather, and more distinctive interior themes. Base-trim buyers should pay close attention to which luxury touches and convenience features are included before assuming every Navigator feels equally lavish.
• Powertrain: You get one engine: a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 with 450 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic. It delivers strong low-end thrust, and the EPA-estimated rating is 17 mpg combined.
• Safety package: Automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, and auto high beams come standard. Adaptive cruise control is optional, and the Navigator will not self-steer and track highway lanes as competently as some rivals.
• Infotainment: The Navigator uses a 10-inch touchscreen, but it does not wirelessly connect to Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. There are no onboard apps or wireless software updates through the vehicle’s modem, though it does include onboard 4G WiFi, wireless device charging, and a smartwatch app.
• Fuel efficiency: The EPA-estimated rating is 17 mpg combined (16 city/20 highway), and the expert notes say fuel economy is appropriately awful.

Which 2021 Lincoln Navigator trim should I buy?

The 2021 Lincoln Navigator is offered in 3 trim levels: Standard, Reserve, Black Label.

Here's the short version:

• Standard: This is the entry point, but it still gives you the Navigator’s core luxury-SUV character, strong power, and standard safety equipment. It makes sense if you want the Navigator experience without stretching for the pricier trims.
• Reserve: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds a more upscale feel and is the version highlighted in the expert test drive. If you want the sweet spot between luxury and price, start here.
• Black Label: This is the most luxurious choice, with richer materials, more textures, and softer leather throughout the cabin. It suits you if interior ambiance and exclusivity matter more than value.

Automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, and auto high beams are standard across the lineup, while adaptive cruise control remains optional.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Lincoln Navigator?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 39.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 921 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.61% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 78.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $38,049, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Lincoln Navigator's resale value?

The current average of $38,049 sits slightly below last year's $45,086.

That price drop suggests the Navigator has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future sellers if they buy at the right price today. If you shop carefully now, you may reduce the amount of value lost over your ownership period.

The flip side is that luxury SUVs like this can continue to depreciate quickly, especially when newer model years bring updates or stronger tech. A well-kept example with desirable equipment and a clean history should still be easier to move than one with visible wear or missing features.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2021 Lincoln Navigator safe?

The 2021 Navigator was crash-tested by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and received five-star overall ratings, with four-star rollover ratings for 4WD models and three-star rollover ratings for RWD models.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, and auto high beams come standard. Adaptive cruise control is optional, and the Navigator will not self-steer and track highway lanes as competently as some competitors.

One caveat is that the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has not rated the Navigator in its current generation. Knee airbags are also not offered, though inflatable rear seat belts for the second row are optional.

Should I buy a 2021 Lincoln Navigator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 39.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 78.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.61% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It pairs a quiet cabin with strong power and a distinctly upscale interior.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $34,115, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $38,049 average.
• It emphasizes comfort, presence, and capability in Lincoln’s flagship SUV.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $47,843, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $38,049 average.
• It brings updates that refresh styling, comfort, technology, safety, and driving dynamics.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, luxury, and availability, the 2021 is the smart target. If your budget is tighter, the 2020 can save you money, while the 2022 makes sense if you want the newer updates and are willing to pay more.
