Used 2021 Chrysler 300 for Sale nearColorado Springs, CO

How much does the 2021 Chrysler 300 cost?

Prices have softened 9.91% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 506 listings available, which suggests you should have a workable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2021 Chrysler 300 a good car?

Yes — the 2021 Chrysler 300 earns a 4.6/5 user rating and a 7.67/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Technology at 9/10.

Owners consistently praise the luxurious look, smooth ride, impressive handling, acceleration, and comfort. The cabin is also described as comfortable, quiet, and easy to use, which fits the car’s traditional big-sedan character and its appeal as a reasonably priced rear-wheel-drive luxury sedan.

The main trade-off is value: the expert assessment calls out poor value for money, and some owners note fuel-efficiency concerns along with the loss of certain features in newer models. Even so, the 300’s mix of presence, comfort, and available V8 power gives it a distinctive role if you want a large sedan with old-school appeal rather than a mainstream commuter.

Only 29.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market is selective rather than broadly discounted.

Is the 2021 Chrysler 300 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that feels comfortable, quiet, and easy to live with, and those are the kinds of traits shoppers often associate with dependable daily use. The expert assessment also describes it as quiet and capable on the road, which reinforces the sense that it is built for steady, familiar ownership rather than constant drama.

The powertrain notes support that impression as well: the V6 and V8 options are presented as proven, traditional hardware, and the eight-speed automatic is part of the established setup. The warranty coverage is also described as competitive, which adds some reassurance for used buyers.

For long-term ownership, your biggest risk is less about novelty and more about age-related wear, especially if you want a well-equipped example with more advanced features.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Chrysler 300?

At 65.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle-history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are considering a higher-mileage example or one with added safety and convenience packages. Pay close attention to body condition, evidence of prior repairs, and whether the equipment on the car matches the trim and options advertised.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base 300 Touring uses 17-inch silver alloys, cloth upholstery, and an eight-way power driver’s seat, while the Touring L and 300S add more upscale touches such as Nappa leather upholstery. The 300S also gets perforated inserts and accent stitching, and the Comfort Group brings adaptive HID lamps plus additional interior and lighting upgrades.
• Powertrain: The 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 makes 292 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque in the Touring and Touring L, while the 300S gets 300 horsepower and 264 pound-feet. The 300S can also be equipped with a 5.7-liter V8 rated at 363 horsepower and 394 pound-feet, and all versions use an eight-speed automatic.
• Safety package: All Chrysler 300s include active head restraints, airbags, traction and stability control with brake assist, rain brake support, ready alert braking, and hill start assist. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are only available on the Touring L or 300S, and the SafetyTec Plus Group adds forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams, lane departure warning, and rain-sensing wipers.
• Infotainment: The 8.4-inch Uconnect 4C touchscreen is standard across the lineup, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard as well. The system is described as intuitive and easy to use, and the Popular Equipment Group adds navigation, a 506-watt amp, nine Alpine speakers, surround sound, a trunk-mounted subwoofer, SiriusXM Traffic Plus, and a dual-pane sunroof.
• Fuel efficiency: The V6 with RWD returns 19 mpg city, 30 mpg highway, and 23 mpg combined. AWD lowers that to 18 mpg city, 27 mpg highway, and 21 mpg combined, while the V8-powered 300S returns 16 mpg city, 25 mpg highway, and 19 mpg combined.

Which 2021 Chrysler 300 trim should I buy?

The 2021 Chrysler 300 is offered in 3 trim levels: 300 Touring, 300 Touring L, 300S.

Here's the short version:

• 300 Touring: This is the value entry point if you want the Chrysler 300’s rear-wheel-drive layout, quiet cabin, and standard 8.4-inch touchscreen without paying for extras. It gives you the core big-sedan experience, but it is also the trim where you feel the feature gap most clearly, especially if you want more upscale lighting, leather, or advanced safety equipment.
• 300 Touring L: This is the best-value choice for most shoppers because it adds a more upscale feel with Nappa leather upholstery and can be paired with useful comfort and lighting upgrades. If you want the 300’s traditional luxury character without jumping all the way to the V8-focused model, this is the trim to target.
• 300S: This is the right pick if you want the strongest performance and the most distinctive appearance, including the available 5.7-liter V8 and standard 20-inch Black Noise wheels. It also brings more premium interior details, but it is the least efficiency-minded choice and does not offer AWD.

For safety equipment, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are only available on the Touring L or 300S, and the SafetyTec Plus Group adds the most advanced driver-assistance features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Chrysler 300?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 29.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 506 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.91% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 65.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $19,700, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Chrysler 300's resale value?

The current average of $19,700 sits slightly below last year's $21,867.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, it also means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment rather than on broad market appreciation.

Because the 300 is a niche choice with a loyal audience, well-kept examples should still attract interest from shoppers who want a traditional rear-drive luxury sedan. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2021 Chrysler 300 safe?

The Chrysler 300 received top "Good" scores in all Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) crash tests except the small overlap tests, where it received a "Marginal" score. It also received a "Poor" rating for headlights and earns a four-star overall rating from NHTSA, with four-star driver and passenger side crash test ratings, four-star rollover ratings, and five-star ratings for NHTSA's combined side barrier and side pole crash test.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

All Chrysler 300s include active head restraints, an arsenal of airbags, traction and stability control with brake assist, rain brake support, ready alert braking, and hill start assist. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are only available on the Touring L or 300S, and the SafetyTec Plus Group adds forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams, lane departure warning, and rain-sensing wipers.

The weak point to keep in mind is the small-overlap IIHS result and the poor headlight rating, which make trim and option selection especially important if safety is a priority.

Should I buy a 2021 Chrysler 300 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 29.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 65.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.91% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• You want a year that still delivers the 300’s traditional rear-drive luxury-sedan feel, available V8 power, and easy-to-use tech.

The bottom line: The 2021 Chrysler 300 makes the most sense if you want a distinctive full-size sedan with classic character, strong comfort, and a market that has already softened enough to create some buying opportunity. If you are highly price-sensitive, you may find better value by shopping carefully within this year’s listings or comparing nearby model years, but the 2021 remains the right choice if you want the best mix of presence, features, and available power.
