What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Chrysler 300?

At 70.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, especially if a listing looks unusually well priced. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can check for bodywork quality, alignment issues, and signs of uneven wear. Focus on overall condition and maintenance records, since those will matter more than mileage alone on a car like this.

What is the 2022 Chrysler 300's resale value?

The current average of $23,372 sits slightly below last year's $25,314.

That price movement suggests the model has softened, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, that also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car is equipped. Well-kept examples should hold up better than average ones because shoppers in this segment tend to reward comfort, style, and a strong ownership reputation.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Chrysler 300 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 29.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 70.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.67% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $19,700, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $23,372 average.
• It offers a traditional rear-drive luxury-sedan feel with a comfortable, quiet cabin.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $29,232, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $23,372 average.
• It adds a limited-production V8-focused sendoff with upgraded hardware.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2022 if you want the best balance of price, satisfaction, and available inventory. If your priority is saving money, the 2021 is the better value play; if you want the most special version and can spend more, the 2023 is the upgrade path.
