Summary
With 97 currently listed for sale and an average price of $27,838, 34.0% of 2021 Audi A5 listings on CarGurus are rated as good or great deals.

Why it stands out
The 2021 Audi A5 sits in the second generation of Audi’s stylish luxury coupe family, and it stands out for blending sleek design with a more practical body style than the original coupe-only formula. By this point in the model’s run, the A5 had expanded beyond the two-door shape to include the Sportback hatchback, giving buyers a more versatile option without giving up the car’s upscale look. The 2021 model year also brought a reworked turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a mild hybrid system, which raised output to 261 horsepower and gave the car a more modern feel than earlier versions.
That combination of style, technology, and everyday usability is what makes the 2021 Audi A5 appealing. It offers standard all-wheel drive, a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a cabin that was already well equipped with features like a panoramic sunroof and power-adjustable front seats. It also earned strong safety recognition, including a Top Safety Pick award from the IIHS and a five-out-of-five-star rating from the NHTSA for the 2018 model year generation launch.
There are tradeoffs, though. The A5’s coupe body style is less practical than the Sportback, and the model’s performance is described more as polished than especially aggressive. Still, for shoppers who want a premium compact Audi with sharp styling, a refined interior, and a good balance of comfort and capability, the 2021 A5 remains one of the more distinctive choices in the lineup.
