How much does the 2020 Porsche Taycan cost?

There are 209 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2020 Porsche Taycan a good car?

Yes — owners rate it 4.6/5, and that lines up with the strong praise for its stunning design, luxurious feel, sporty performance, instant acceleration, exceptional handling, and build quality. If you want an electric car that still feels like a Porsche, the overview points to a performance-first EV with sharp dynamics and a premium cabin. For shoppers who care about driving engagement and brand character more than maximum range, it fits that use case well. With 28.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 Porsche Taycan reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to build quality and a trouble-free ownership experience for many drivers, with reliability-adjacent praise centered on how well the car is put together. At the same time, some owners note range limitations and a high price point, so your long-term ownership risk is less about basic satisfaction and more about whether the EV’s real-world range and premium running costs fit your needs.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Porsche Taycan?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any listing you like, even if the car appears clean on paper. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on overall condition, charging behavior, and signs of heavy use, since you want to confirm the car matches its premium positioning. Pay close attention to cosmetic and mechanical condition, because a used EV like this can be expensive to sort out if prior care was inconsistent.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Porsche Taycan?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 28.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 209 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.96% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 87.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $61,641, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Porsche Taycan's resale value?

The current average of $61,733 sits slightly below last year's $71,748.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer now but may also mean future resale gains are limited if depreciation continues at a similar pace. If you plan to sell later, the best protection is buying well and keeping the car in strong condition. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Porsche Taycan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 28.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.96% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should buy the 2020 if you want the original Taycan experience at a lower used price and you value its sporty character, premium feel, and strong owner satisfaction. If you are especially price-sensitive, a different year may give you more flexibility, but the 2020 remains appealing when you want the Porsche driving experience first and foremost.
