Used 2020 Porsche 911 for Sale nearCincinnati, OH

How much does the 2020 Porsche 911 cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 656 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2020 Porsche 911 a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Porsche 911 earns a 4.8/5 user rating and an 8.7/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise its stunning design, exceptional performance, and thrilling drive, and they also appreciate the comfort and build quality. The 911’s appeal is especially strong if you want a car that feels special every time you drive it, and the available manual transmission adds to that enthusiast focus.

The trade-offs are clear: it is on the pricier side, and some owners mention road noise and the Bose sound system. In practical terms, this is a sports car that delivers a memorable driving experience first, while asking you to accept some compromises.

The market still looks healthy, with 27.9% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2020 Porsche 911 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback points to a car that feels highly dependable over time, with praise centered on its strong build quality and the kind of ownership experience people feel good about keeping for the long haul. The expert review also describes the 911 as a car that is well-mannered and confident in everyday use, which supports the sense that it can be counted on beyond just weekend drives.

The ownership picture is helped by the model’s strong resale reputation, but you should still expect higher running costs than you would with a mainstream used car. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is paying premium-car money for a car that may have been maintained inconsistently or optioned sparsely.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Porsche 911?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and verify that the car’s service records match its mileage and asking price. A pre-purchase inspection matters here because the 911 can vary a lot by trim and options, and some of the most desirable equipment was not standard. Focus on condition, maintenance, and whether the car has the features you actually want rather than assuming every 911 is equipped the same way.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base car is stripped down in places, with the review noting cheap-feeling interior materials and missing comfort features unless the car was optioned up. Higher-spec versions add more desirable equipment, so you should compare the cabin and feature content carefully before deciding.
• Powertrain: The standard twin-turbo 3.0-liter flat-six makes 379 horsepower and 331 pound-feet of torque, while the Carrera S and 4S step up to 443 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque. The eight-speed dual-clutch automatic is standard, and a manual is available on S and 4S models.
• Safety package: Forward emergency braking with pedestrian detection and front/rear parking sensors come standard. Lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and blind-spot monitoring are optional, so check whether the car you’re considering has the driver-assistance features you want.
• Infotainment: Navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Porsche Connect, and onboard LTE WiFi are standard. The system also supports wireless Apple CarPlay, and some cars add a premium audio setup and 360-degree cameras through packages.
• Fuel efficiency: The rear-wheel-drive Carrera S with the PDK is rated at 18 mpg city and 24 mpg highway.

Which 2020 Porsche 911 trim should I buy?

The 2020 Porsche 911 is offered in 4 trim levels: Carrera, Carrera 4, Carrera S, Carrera 4S.

Here's the short version:

• Carrera: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core 911 experience with the standard 379-horsepower twin-turbo flat-six, the eight-speed dual-clutch automatic, and the model’s signature styling and driving feel. It makes sense if you want the least expensive way into the lineup and are comfortable keeping the feature set relatively basic.
• Carrera 4: Choose this if you want the same core setup as the Carrera but with all-wheel drive for added all-weather confidence. It is the better fit if you expect to drive in poor weather more often.
• Carrera S: This is the best-value choice for many shoppers because it adds more power, and the review notes that the manual transmission is available here. If you want the most engaging version without jumping to the top of the range, this is the one to focus on.
• Carrera 4S: Pick this if you want the stronger 443-horsepower setup plus all-wheel drive. It is the right choice if you want the most complete blend of performance and traction among the trims listed here.

Advanced safety features are not standard, so check the option list carefully on any trim you consider.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Porsche 911?

The market looks selective rather than bargain-heavy, so you should shop with a clear target and be ready to move when the right car appears.

• Deal availability: 27.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 656 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 90.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $126,038, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Porsche 911's resale value?

The current average of $127,722 sits slightly below last year's $128,607.

That small decline suggests the market has stayed relatively stable rather than swinging sharply in either direction. For a future seller, that kind of pricing pattern is helpful because it points to predictable demand and less risk of a sudden value drop.

The 911’s strong desirability and reputation for quality should continue to support used prices, especially for well-kept examples with desirable options. If you buy carefully and maintain the car well, you are starting from a position that should remain attractive to future shoppers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2020 Porsche 911 safe?

The 2020 Porsche 911 has not been crash-tested by NHTSA or IIHS.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Forward emergency braking with pedestrian detection and front/rear parking sensors come standard. Lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and blind-spot monitoring are optional, so you should check the build sheet carefully if safety tech matters to you. The main caveat is that advanced safety features are not standard.

Should I buy a 2020 Porsche 911 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 27.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2020 model year stands out for its strong expert score, standard wireless Apple CarPlay, and the availability of a manual transmission on select trims.

The bottom line: The 2020 is a strong choice if you want a modern 911 with stable pricing, strong owner satisfaction, and a broad mix of trims. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare it with nearby years and focus on the best-equipped example you can find rather than chasing the newest badge alone.
