How much does the 2020 Nissan Kicks cost?

There are 1,181 listings available, which suggests a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2020 Nissan Kicks a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Nissan Kicks earns a 4.62/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its value, safety features, and fuel efficiency, and many appreciate the amount of equipment you get for the price. That makes it a sensible fit if you want a practical, budget-friendly subcompact SUV for commuting and everyday use. Is the 2020 Nissan Kicks reliable?

Owners rate it 4.62/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also emphasizes reliability-adjacent strengths like value, fuel efficiency, and a trouble-free everyday ownership experience. That kind of response suggests you can count on it as a low-drama commuter if you choose a well-kept example. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about complexity and more about finding one that has been maintained well and hasn’t been worn down by heavy daily use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Nissan Kicks?

At 74.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, especially if a listing looks unusually well priced. Put inspection priority on body condition, signs of prior repair, and overall wear, since accident history can affect both value and future resale. It also makes sense to focus on how the car drives and whether everything feels consistent with its mileage and asking price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Nissan Kicks?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on standout listings.

• Deal availability: 33.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,181 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.65% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 74.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $13,026, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Nissan Kicks's resale value?

The current average of $13,029 sits slightly below last year's $14,262.

That price movement suggests the Kicks has softened, which can work against you if you buy high and sell soon after. On the other hand, the current market also gives you a lower entry point than a year ago, which can help protect your ownership costs if you plan to keep it for a while. Because demand tends to stay steadier for vehicles that owners like, the Kicks' strong satisfaction score helps support future buyer interest.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.62/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Nissan Kicks or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 33.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 74.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.65% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.62/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $11,956, the 2019 costs less than the current year's $13,029 average.
• It emphasizes affordable basics, strong fuel economy, and standard safety features.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $14,527, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $13,029 average.
• It adds more features while keeping the same budget-friendly commuter appeal.

The bottom line: The 2020 is the best all-around choice if you want a balanced mix of price, owner satisfaction, and market availability. If your priority is spending less, the 2019 is the better value play; if you want more features and can stretch your budget, the 2021 is the upgrade path to consider.
