How much does the 2020 Nissan Kicks cost?

There are 1,161 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2020 Nissan Kicks a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Nissan Kicks earns a 4.6/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its value, safety features, and fuel efficiency, and many like how much equipment you get for the price. That makes it a sensible fit if you want a practical, budget-friendly subcompact SUV for everyday commuting and city use. With 32.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful chance to find a competitive offer.

Is the 2020 Nissan Kicks reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback also highlights the Kicks as reliable, dependable, and easy to live with over time, especially for buyers who want a trouble-free commuter. The same value-and-efficiency themes that show up in reviews suggest it can be a sensible long-term ownership choice if you prioritize low-stress daily use. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about complexity and more about finding a well-kept example that has not been neglected.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Nissan Kicks?

At 73.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. Put inspection priority on body panels, paint match, alignment, and signs of uneven wear that could point to past collision work. You should also focus on overall condition, since a clean-looking listing can still hide issues that matter more than mileage alone.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Nissan Kicks?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,161 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.53% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 73.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $12,930, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Nissan Kicks's resale value?

The current average of $12,930 sits slightly below last year's $14,136.

That softer pricing can help you buy in at a more favorable level, but it also means future resale gains may be limited if the market stays soft. If you plan to sell later, the best protection is buying well now and keeping the vehicle in strong condition. A clean history and good maintenance records should matter more when it comes time to attract the next buyer.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Nissan Kicks or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 73.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.53% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $11,843, the 2019 costs less than the current year's $12,930 average.
• It emphasizes affordability and standard safety features.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $14,365, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $12,930 average.
• It adds more features in a refreshed package.

The bottom line: The 2020 is the best all-around pick if you want a balance of price, owner satisfaction, and market availability. If your top priority is spending less, the 2019 is the better value play; if you want more features and can stretch your budget, the 2021 is worth a look.
