Used 2020 Chevrolet Traverse for Sale nearSaint Louis, MO

How much does the 2020 Chevrolet Traverse cost?

Prices have softened 15.77% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,571 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for comparison shopping.

Is the 2020 Chevrolet Traverse a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Chevrolet Traverse earns a 4.93/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its spacious interior, smooth ride, and powerful performance, and many also like its comfort and handling in challenging weather. That lines up well with its family-focused mission: you get a roomy three-row SUV with everyday usability and a cabin built around easy-to-use tech. With 35.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you also have a decent chance of finding attractive pricing.

Is the 2020 Chevrolet Traverse reliable?

Owners rate it 4.93/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free experience for many shoppers, especially those who value comfort and space over flash. The strongest reliability takeaway for used buyers is that you should still verify maintenance and condition carefully, since long-term ownership risk depends heavily on how the vehicle was cared for.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Chevrolet Traverse?

At 66.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. Put inspection priority on body condition, panel alignment, and signs of past collision work, since some owners have noted concerns about body damage. It also makes sense to focus on overall wear and maintenance records so you can separate a clean, well-kept SUV from one that may need extra attention.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Chevrolet Traverse?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the best listings.

• Deal availability: 35.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,571 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.77% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 66.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $19,000, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Chevrolet Traverse's resale value?

The current average of $19,000 sits slightly below last year's $22,557.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy at a better entry point now. For future resale, the softer current pricing may limit upside if you plan to sell soon, but the Traverse’s broad family appeal should still support steady demand. Strong owner satisfaction can help keep interest healthy when it’s time to list.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.93/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Chevrolet Traverse or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 35.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 66.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.77% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.93/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $21,360, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $19,000 average.
• It adds a wider trim spread for more choice.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2020 is the stronger starting point because pricing has eased and owner satisfaction is excellent. If you’re willing to pay more for a newer model year and a broader trim lineup, the 2021 is the better secondary path.
