At 68.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can screen for accidents, title issues, and inconsistent mileage. After that, prioritize a thorough inspection of body panels, paint match, tires, brakes, and interior wear, since condition can vary widely from one listing to another. It also helps to focus on how well the features and electronics work, because this model’s appeal depends heavily on its comfort and tech equipment.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Chevrolet Blazer?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 29.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,061 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.32% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 68.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $19,400, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Chevrolet Blazer's resale value?

The current average of $19,400 sits slightly below last year's $21,161.

That price movement suggests the Blazer has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help if you buy now and later resell into a steadier market. Because the model has a distinctive style and strong owner satisfaction, it should continue to attract shoppers who want something more expressive than a typical midsize SUV. If you keep mileage reasonable and maintenance records organized, you’ll be in a better position when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.3/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Chevrolet Blazer or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 29.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 68.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.32% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.3/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $18,448, the 2019 costs less than the current year's $19,400 average.
• It emphasizes sporty road manners and a stylish, road-focused character.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $20,637, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $19,400 average.
• It leans harder into style and handling, with a more premium-feeling personality.

The bottom line: The 2020 is the best all-around starting point if you want a balance of price, satisfaction, and available inventory. If you’re especially price-sensitive, the 2019 is the better value play, while the 2021 makes sense only if you’re willing to pay more for a newer model-year option.
