Should I buy a 2020 Buick Envision or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 36.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 78.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.11% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.55/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $17,131, the 2019 costs less than the current year's $18,612 average.
• It offers a more value-focused take on the Envision’s upscale comfort.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $21,591, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $18,612 average.
• It brings a redesigned look with more competitive tech and styling.

The bottom line: The 2020 is the best all-around choice if you want a balanced mix of price, comfort, and market availability. If you’re especially price-sensitive, the 2019 is the better value play, while the 2021 makes sense if you want the newer-generation design and are willing to pay more.
