Is the 2020 Audi Q5 a good car?

Yes — the 4.57/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Is the 2020 Audi Q5 reliable?

That said, used buyers should still focus on maintenance records and condition, because long-term ownership risk is best managed by choosing a well-kept example.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Audi Q5?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 76.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then inspect the vehicle closely for signs of prior damage, uneven wear, or deferred maintenance. Pay special attention to overall condition, since a premium SUV like this can be more expensive to refresh if previous owners skipped upkeep. A careful pre-purchase inspection is especially worthwhile if you want to avoid surprises after purchase.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Audi Q5?

This looks like a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Inventory: There are 1,345 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.03% compared with last year.

What is the 2020 Audi Q5's resale value?

The current average of $18,974 sits slightly below last year's $21,816.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Q5 more attractive to used buyers today but less favorable for sellers trying to maximize return. If you plan to resell later, your best protection is buying well, keeping mileage reasonable, and maintaining the vehicle carefully. A clean history and strong condition should help you stand out in a market where shoppers still have plenty of choices.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.57/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Audi Q5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 76.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.03% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.57/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $21,494, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $18,974 average.
• It adds a plug-in hybrid option for buyers who want electrified driving.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2020 if you want the better value and a broad pool of listings to shop from. If you’re price-sensitive, the 2020 is the smarter path; if you want the newer-year premium and the plug-in hybrid option, the 2021 is worth the extra money.
