Used 2020 Alfa Romeo Giulia for Sale near Virginia

How much does the 2020 Alfa Romeo Giulia cost?

Prices have softened 13.35% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 228 listings available, which suggests you have a modest amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2020 Alfa Romeo Giulia a good car?

Generally — the 2020 Alfa Romeo Giulia earns a 4.4/5 user rating and a 7.7/10 expert rating, which points to a car that resonates strongly with shoppers who value driving enjoyment. The model scores 9/10 across Performance and Safety.

Owners consistently praise its striking design, exceptional handling, and enjoyable ride-and-performance balance. The trade-offs are clear: the touchscreen response is sluggish, the back seat is cramped, and the cabin does not feel as upscale as some rivals. For you, that means the Giulia makes the most sense if you want a performance luxury sedan that prioritizes driving character over rear-seat space or interior polish. With 32.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 Alfa Romeo Giulia reliable?

Owners rate it 4.4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction. The owner feedback also points to a car that can be dependable and enjoyable over time, with many drivers describing it as a model they enjoy living with day to day. At the same time, some owners mention reliability concerns such as battery life and coolant leaks, so you should treat maintenance history as especially important on a used example. If you want to count on this car for long-term ownership, a careful pre-purchase inspection and service-record review are essential.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Alfa Romeo Giulia?

At 64.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. A thorough pre-purchase inspection matters here, especially if you are comparing cars with similar prices but different condition histories. Focus on signs of uneven wear, electrical quirks, and any evidence that the car has been maintained consistently.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The standard Giulia includes leather upholstery, 10-way power-adjustable front seats, push-button start, remote start, and a full suite of driver assistance features. Higher trims add comfort and appearance upgrades, while the Ti Lusso is the one most likely to address cabin-quality concerns with its upgraded leather-wrapped dash and luxury leather seats.
• Powertrain: The Giulia uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 280 horsepower and 306 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive is available.
• Safety package: The Giulia includes a full suite of driver assistance features, with available blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, and front and rear parking sensors. It also offers forward collision avoidance, lane-departure warning, driver attention alert, and traffic sign recognition.
• Infotainment: The Giulia comes with an 8.8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, SiriusXM satellite radio, and a built-in WiFi hotspot. The system is updated for this model year, but response and menu navigation can still be frustrating.
• Fuel efficiency: With rear-wheel drive, the turbocharged four-cylinder returns 24 mpg city, 33 mpg highway, and 27 combined. With all-wheel drive, it returns 24 mpg city, 33 mpg highway, and 26 combined.

Which 2020 Alfa Romeo Giulia trim should I buy?

The 2020 Alfa Romeo Giulia is offered in 7 trim levels: Base, Sport, Ti, Ti Lusso, Ti Sport, Ti Sport Carbon, and Quadrifoglio.

Here's the short version:

• Base: This is the entry point, but it still gives you leather upholstery, 10-way power-adjustable front seats, push-button start, remote start, a full suite of driver assistance features, and the 8.8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. If you want the lowest-cost way into the Giulia’s core driving experience, this is the one to start with.
• Sport: The Sport adds 18-inch Sport aluminum wheels with red calipers and Alfa Romeo script, plus an upgraded sport front fascia, rear diffuser, and gloss black window surrounds. It is the better pick if you want a more aggressive look without moving too far up the price ladder.
• Ti: The Ti adds heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, genuine dark gray oak interior trim, and bright metal door sills. This is the trim that best balances comfort and value for many shoppers.
• Ti Lusso: The Ti Lusso adds an upgraded leather-wrapped dash, luxury leather Cannelloni-design 12-way power front seats, a luxury steering wheel, and upgraded interior trim. If cabin quality matters most to you, this is the trim to target.
• Ti Sport: The Ti Sport adds unique 19-inch wheels, aluminum trim, aluminum sport pedals, and steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters. It suits you best if you want a more driver-focused setup with extra visual flair.
• Ti Sport Carbon: The Ti Sport Carbon is listed among the available trims, but the provided content does not add further equipment details here.
• Quadrifoglio: The Quadrifoglio is the high-performance model and sits at the top of the lineup.

The standard safety package is broad, but some features remain available rather than standard, so check the exact equipment list on any used example.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Alfa Romeo Giulia?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient.

• Deal availability: 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 228 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.35% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 64.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $17,593, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Alfa Romeo Giulia's resale value?

The current average of $17,783 sits slightly below last year's $20,523.

That price movement suggests the Giulia has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can be good news if you are buying now and less ideal if you are planning to sell soon. For a future seller, the key takeaway is that the car’s value has softened, so resale gains are unlikely to be strong in the near term. Still, a well-kept example with strong service history should be easier to move than one with visible wear or questionable maintenance.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2020 Alfa Romeo Giulia safe?

The 2020 Alfa Romeo Giulia earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

It comes standard with a full assortment of front- and side-impact airbags, traction control, hill start assist, and a tire pressure monitoring system. The available driver-assistance suite includes blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, forward collision avoidance, lane-departure warning, driver attention alert, and traffic sign recognition. One caveat is that the lane-departure system can be overly sensitive, and the backup camera quality is disappointing for a modern car.

Should I buy a 2020 Alfa Romeo Giulia or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 64.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.35% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The 2020 model adds an updated infotainment system and additional safety features.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $19,316, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $17,783 average.
• It adds a couple of new standard features in the top-tier trims.

The bottom line: If you want the better value today, the 2020 is the stronger buy because it combines a lower average price with meaningful updates and strong owner satisfaction. If you are willing to spend more for a newer model and slightly fresher standard equipment, the 2021 is the cleaner alternative.
