The review summary points to a vehicle that owners find comfortable, dependable in daily use, and easy to live with over time. What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Volvo XC60?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 76.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

Start with the history report so you can confirm accident status, title history, and any major insurance claims. Then prioritize a thorough inspection of the brakes, suspension, electronics, and interior condition, since those areas can reveal how well the vehicle was maintained. You should also focus on how the transmission and acceleration feel on a test drive, because smoothness and overall condition matter more than mileage alone.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Volvo XC60?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 38.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 761 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.28% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 76.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $19,584, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Volvo XC60's resale value?

The current average of $19,589 sits slightly below last year's $22,078.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy at a better entry point now but may also limit near-term upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the softer pricing means your return will depend more on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. Strong presentation and a clean history will matter more when you eventually list it.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Volvo XC60 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 38.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 76.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.28% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $17,713, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $19,589 average.
• It offers a thoroughly redesigned luxury crossover with a new platform and a distinctive personality.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger current-market balance of price, inventory, and owner satisfaction, the 2019 is the better default choice. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2018 is the better secondary path, especially if you find one in excellent condition and value its more distinctive redesign.
