Is the 2019 Porsche 911 a good car?

Yes — 4.73/5 is a strong user rating, and it lines up with the way owners describe this car. Reviewers consistently praise its performance and handling, and they also call out its reliability and overall driving experience. Many owners also value its luxurious features and strong value retention, which matters if you want a sports car that still feels special over time. If you want a car that can serve as an everyday sports car, a spirited back-road machine, or a more focused enthusiast choice, this model year gives you that range. With 26.1% of listings priced as good or great deals, you still have some market flexibility if you shop carefully.

Is the 2019 Porsche 911 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.73/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The review summary points to reliability, dependability, and a car that owners feel good about keeping for the long term. That kind of feedback is especially useful on a used sports car, where you want confidence that the ownership experience will stay rewarding after the purchase. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is paying a premium for a car that has been neglected or driven hard without proper maintenance.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Porsche 911?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still prioritize a history report, because even a strong accident-free share does not replace checking the specific car you want. Put a pre-purchase inspection at the top of your list, especially if the car has been modified, tracked, or has a thin service record. Focus on overall condition, maintenance documentation, and signs of hard use so you know whether the asking price matches the car’s real shape.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Porsche 911?

This is still a seller’s market, so you should act selectively and be ready to move when the right car appears.

• Deal availability: 26.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 694 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 22.32% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 89.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $190,152, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Porsche 911's resale value?

The current average of $232,112 sits slightly above last year's $189,764.

That price movement suggests the market continues to reward this model year, which is a positive sign if you plan to sell later. Strong demand at the used-car level usually helps support resale value, especially for a car with a reputation for performance and desirability. The limited supply of well-kept examples can also work in your favor if your car has clean history and strong documentation.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.73/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Porsche 911 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 26.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices are up 22.32% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 4.73/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $128,220, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $232,112 average.
• The next year adds a benchmark sports-car feel with a manual-transmission option.

The bottom line: If you want the 2019’s broad mix of performance, usability, and strong owner satisfaction, it remains the primary choice. If price matters more than model-year positioning, the 2020 is the better path to compare closely because it comes in at a much lower average price.
