Is the 2019 Porsche 911 a good car?

Yes — 4.73/5 is a strong user rating, and it lines up with what owners say they value most: performance and handling, overall driving experience, and reliability. Reviewers also point to value retention and luxurious features, which helps explain why this model year appeals to buyers who want a sports car that still feels special. With 25.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2019 Porsche 911 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.73/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also emphasizes reliability, dependable performance, and a trouble-free ownership experience, which is encouraging for a used sports car. That said, long-term ownership risk still depends on how the car was maintained and driven, so a clean history and careful inspection matter a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Porsche 911?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and verify that the car’s maintenance records match its mileage and use. Put inspection priority on wear items, signs of track use, and overall condition, especially if the car has been driven hard or modified. Focus on the details that matter most in a performance car: tires, brakes, suspension, and evidence of consistent care.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Porsche 911?

This is a seller’s market, so you should act selectively and be ready to move when a strong listing appears.

If you find a listing below $189,866, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Porsche 911's resale value?

The current average of $225,673 sits slightly above last year's $191,868.

That price movement suggests the market continues to reward this model year, which is a positive sign if you plan to sell later. Strong demand and limited supply can help support values, especially for well-kept examples with clean histories. Because this model year already shows solid buyer interest, a carefully maintained car should remain easier to move than a neglected one.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.73/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Porsche 911 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 25.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices are up 17.62% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 4.73/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $128,111, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $225,673 average.
• It adds a more modern, benchmark-setting sports-car feel with a manual-transmission option.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger satisfaction signal and a broad mix of well-kept listings, the 2019 is the safer primary path. If your priority is spending less, the 2020 is the better secondary path to consider.
