Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Nissan Rogue?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 29.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,245 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.41% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 58.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $13,860, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Nissan Rogue's resale value?

The current average of $13,860 sits slightly below last year's $15,300.

That softer pricing can help you buy in at a more favorable point, but it also suggests resale upside may be more limited than in a stronger market. If you plan to sell later, condition and maintenance history will matter a lot, because well-kept examples are easier to move when shoppers have plenty of choices. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Nissan Rogue or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 29.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 58.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.41% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $12,342, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $13,860 average.
• It adds advanced driver assists and remains roomy and comfortable.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $15,099, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $13,860 average.
• It emphasizes comfort and everyday usefulness, though with some clear tradeoffs.

The bottom line: The 2019 is the best all-around pick if you want a well-liked Rogue with strong owner satisfaction and a softer used price. If your budget is tighter, the 2018 is the better value play; if you want to spend more, the 2020 is only worth it if its specific condition and equipment justify the premium.
