At 59.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can confirm the car’s structural and mechanical condition. What is the 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport's resale value?

The current average of $10,694 sits slightly below last year's $11,979.

That decline suggests the model has become more affordable for used buyers, but it also means future sellers may face a softer pricing environment if the market continues to favor value-oriented shoppers. Because the Outlander Sport is already positioned as a budget-friendly crossover, resale performance will likely depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 27.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 59.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.73% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2019 is the right pick if you want the lower used price, a straightforward ownership experience, and a model-year snapshot that still looks reasonably attractive in today’s market. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years, but the 2019 already gives you a strong value case if you find one with clean history and solid condition.
