Used 2019 Lexus IS for Sale nearColorado Springs, CO

How much does the 2019 Lexus IS cost?

Prices have softened 3.76% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 418 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2019 Lexus IS a good car?

The 2019 Lexus IS is a solid fit if you want a compact luxury sports sedan with a sporty personality, a premium-brand badge, and a relatively approachable price point. It earns a user rating of 3/5, and its appeal is strongest if you value a smaller footprint and a driver-focused feel over maximum practicality. It is not the best choice if you need family-friendly rear-seat space, and its poor fuel economy and limited cargo room are part of the tradeoff. With 31.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Lexus IS reliable?

The 2019 Lexus IS is presented as part of a model line with a strong reputation for reliability, and it also brings a familiar set of standard luxury features that should make ownership feel straightforward. It sits in the middle of the third-generation run, which gives you a more mature version of the car’s design and equipment than earlier examples. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the specific car you choose has been maintained well and has not accumulated hidden wear from prior use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Lexus IS?

At 55% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with past damage. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, with extra attention on body panels, alignment, interior wear, and any signs that the car has been repaired after an accident. Because this model is valued for its premium feel, condition matters a lot when you compare similar-priced listings.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Lexus IS?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly when a strong listing appears.

• Deal availability: 31.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 418 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.76% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 55.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $23,531, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Lexus IS's resale value?

The current average of $24,504 sits slightly below last year's $25,460.

That price movement suggests the market has eased, which can help you buy more confidently now. If you plan to resell later, the softer trend means your future value will depend heavily on how well you preserve condition, mileage, and service history. A clean, well-kept example should hold up better than one with accident history or visible wear.

Should I buy a 2019 Lexus IS or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 31.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 55% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.76% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2019 is a good choice if you want a middle-ground Lexus IS with a modern-feeling feature set and a price that has eased a bit. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare it with nearby years to see whether a cleaner or better-equipped example offers more value for the money.
