How much does the 2019 Lexus GX cost?

There are 628 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and conditions.

Is the 2019 Lexus GX a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Lexus GX earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to very strong owner satisfaction.

Drivers repeatedly praise its safety features, comfort, and reliability, and many also call out the luxurious interior and smooth performance. That lines up well with the model’s appeal as a premium SUV for buyers who want capability and a well-appointed cabin. If you want a luxury SUV that still leans into durability and real-world usefulness, this model year fits that brief well. The market also shows 40.3% of listings as good or great deals, which suggests there are still attractive opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2019 Lexus GX reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback emphasizes reliability, and it also describes the GX as dependable and trouble-free in everyday ownership. That kind of owner sentiment matters for a used SUV, especially when you’re looking for something you can count on over the long haul. For used buyers, the main risk is less about the model’s reputation and more about how well a specific example has been maintained.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Lexus GX?

At 64.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

Start with a vehicle history report so you can confirm accident records, title status, and ownership patterns before you go any further. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, with extra attention to body condition, signs of prior repair, and overall maintenance quality. Because this model is often bought for long-term use, you should focus on how the specific vehicle has been cared for rather than relying on the badge alone.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Lexus GX?

Yes — this looks like a buyer-friendly market if you’re willing to compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 40.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 628 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.84% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 64.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $31,863, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Lexus GX's resale value?

The current average of $32,534 sits slightly below last year's $33,144.

That modest decline suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. For a future seller, the current pricing trend implies you may not see rapid appreciation, but the model’s steady demand should help support value better than many mainstream SUVs. If you buy well and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you’re more likely to preserve a healthy share of your purchase price over time.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Lexus GX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 40.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 64.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.84% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $37,311, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $32,534 average.
• It adds fresh styling.

The bottom line: The 2019 is the better value play if you want the strongest mix of price, satisfaction, and market availability. If you’re more focused on newer styling and are willing to pay more, the 2020 is the better secondary path. For most price-sensitive buyers, the 2019 offers the more compelling balance.
