How much does the 2019 Kia Stinger cost?

Is the 2019 Kia Stinger a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Kia Stinger earns a 4.64/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its powerful performance, stylish design, and value for money, and they also like the driving experience, advanced technology, and sound system quality. Is the 2019 Kia Stinger reliable?

Owners rate it 4.64/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback also highlights dependable ownership traits, with praise centered on the car’s strong performance, value, and technology that owners continue to appreciate over time. The same feedback suggests it can be a car you feel good about living with, especially if you value a well-rounded driving experience.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about broad dissatisfaction and more about finding a well-kept example that avoids avoidable wear or neglected maintenance.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Kia Stinger?

At 59.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage or repeated claims. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has higher mileage or visible cosmetic wear. Focus on overall condition, because a sporty car like this can vary a lot depending on how carefully it was driven and maintained.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Kia Stinger?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you know what you want.

• Deal availability: 28.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 416 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.24% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 59.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $20,533, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Kia Stinger's resale value?

The current average of $21,036 sits slightly below last year's $22,200.

That kind of price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can make resale timing more important if you plan to sell later. If you buy at the right price and keep the car in strong condition, you may be better positioned to limit depreciation pressure. A model with broad appeal and strong enthusiast interest can still hold attention even when prices soften.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.64/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Kia Stinger or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 28.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 59.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.24% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.64/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $19,919, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $21,036 average.
• It introduced the Stinger as Kia’s upscale performance statement.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2019 if you want the stronger current-market balance of price, owner satisfaction, and shopping flexibility. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2018 is the better value-oriented alternative, especially if you find one in excellent condition.
