How much does the 2019 Jeep Wrangler cost?

Prices have softened 12.10% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 8,071 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2019 Jeep Wrangler a good car?

Generally — the 4.33/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its fun driving experience, power, and outdoorsy appeal, and they also value its reliability for off-road adventures. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a rugged SUV with real trail character and customization potential rather than a polished commuter. With 34.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Jeep Wrangler reliable?

Owners rate it 4.33/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owners describe it as reliable and dependable, especially when used for off-road adventures, and the feedback suggests many buyers feel confident counting on it over time. That said, used ownership risk still depends heavily on maintenance history and how hard the vehicle was used, so condition matters a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Jeep Wrangler?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 75.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then inspect the vehicle closely for signs of off-road wear, prior damage, or uneven maintenance. Pay extra attention to the condition of the suspension, body panels, interior trim, and any features that may have been stressed by heavy use. A thorough pre-purchase inspection is especially important if you want a Wrangler that still feels tight and well cared for.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Jeep Wrangler?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 34.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 8,071 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.10% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 75.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $23,811, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Jeep Wrangler's resale value?

The current average of $23,811 sits slightly below last year's $27,087.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy at a better entry point today. For a future seller, the current softness means resale upside may depend more on condition, mileage, and trim appeal than on broad market momentum. Well-kept examples should still draw attention because the Wrangler name remains highly recognizable and desirable.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.33/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Jeep Wrangler or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 34.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 75.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.10% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.33/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $21,345, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $23,811 average.
• It was newly redesigned and still feels unmistakably like a Wrangler.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $25,248, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $23,811 average.
• It adds a diesel option that broadens the Wrangler's powertrain choices.

The bottom line: The 2019 is the best all-around choice if you want a strong mix of owner satisfaction, market availability, and softened pricing. If your priority is saving money, the 2018 is the better value path; if you want to spend more for a newer option, the 2020 is worth a look.
