Used 2019 GMC Acadia for Sale nearBuffalo, NY

How much does the 2019 GMC Acadia cost?

Prices have softened 10.40% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,502 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2019 GMC Acadia a good car?

Generally — 4.43/5 from owners and 8/10 from expert testing point to a well-liked SUV with broad appeal. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Technology.

Owners repeatedly praise the smooth ride, stylish design, and family-friendly interior. The overview also points to a more upscale cabin and a refined feel, which helps the Acadia stand out if you want a three-row SUV that feels less utilitarian.

The tradeoff is that it is not as large or spacious as some rivals, so it fits you best if you value comfort, style, and everyday usability over maximum room. 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 GMC Acadia reliable?

Owners rate it 4.43/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner summary points to a dependable-feeling SUV with a smooth ride and family-friendly features, and it also suggests many owners are happy enough with the vehicle to recommend it for daily use. The expert driving notes describe it as a powerful and well-balanced machine, which supports the sense that it should be easy to live with over time.

The cost-effectiveness notes also show that lower trims can keep the Acadia within reach, which matters if you want to reduce long-term ownership strain. For used buyers, the main risk is less about outright durability and more about choosing a well-kept example with the right equipment and maintenance history.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 GMC Acadia?

At 65.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle-history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are considering a higher-mileage or heavily optioned example. Pay close attention to body condition, interior wear, and whether the third row and cargo area match your needs.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base SL covers the basics with 17-inch painted aluminum wheels, 7-passenger seating, remote keyless entry, 3-zone climate control, and heated power side mirrors. The SLE-1 adds signature LED headlights and SiriusXM, while the SLE-2 adds a power liftgate, fog lights, heated front seats, and remote engine start. The SLT trims add more comfort and convenience, and the Denali brings the most luxury-focused equipment.
• Powertrain: You get a 193-horsepower inline 4-cylinder or a 310-hp 3.6-liter V6. The V6 is the stronger choice, with quicker acceleration and available AWD, while the 4-cylinder is FWD-only.
• Safety package: Driver Alert Package 1 adds blind-spot warning, lane-change alert, and rear park assist. Driver Alert Package 2 adds low-speed forward automatic braking, lane-departure warning, pedestrian detection, forward-collision alert, adaptive headlights and high beams, rear cross-traffic alert, and front and rear parking sensors. Some of this equipment is optional on lower trims rather than standard.
• Infotainment: The base system uses a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, five USB ports, and a WiFi hotspot. Higher trims add an 8-inch screen, and the Denali adds navigation.
• Fuel efficiency: The base 4-cylinder FWD setup returns 21 mpg city, 26 highway, and 23 combined. The V6 AWD setup should return 17/25/20, and the expert test drive observed 19.8 mpg in mixed driving.

Which 2019 GMC Acadia trim should I buy?

The 2019 GMC Acadia is offered in 6 trim levels: SL, SLE-1, SLE-2, SLT-1, SLT-2, and Denali.

Here's the short version:

• SL: This is the value entry point if you want the essentials, including 7-passenger seating, a 7-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and the basic comfort and convenience features. It is the least expensive way into the Acadia, but it is also the most stripped-down.
• SLE-1: This trim adds LED headlights and SiriusXM, and it opens the door to more option packages. It makes sense if you want a little more equipment without jumping too far in price.
• SLE-2: This trim adds a power liftgate, fog lights, heated front seats, and remote engine start, which makes it a more comfortable daily driver. It is a sensible middle-ground choice if you want more convenience without moving all the way to the SLT line.
• SLT-1: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds the Bose premium stereo, more driver-assistance features, heated and auto-dimming mirrors, a 120-volt outlet, and lumbar adjustment. CarGurus recommends this trim, and it gives you much of the Acadia’s desirable content without pushing into luxury pricing.
• SLT-2: This trim adds 20-inch bright aluminum wheels, a more extensive list of driver-assistance features, heated rear seats, and front-seat memory settings. Choose it if you want a more fully equipped family SUV.
• Denali: This is the luxury-focused choice, with a hands-free power tailgate, unique wheels, HID headlights, navigation, and leather-appointed seating. It suits you best if you want the most upscale Acadia experience.

The safety-package trims are worth noting: Driver Alert Package 1 is standard on SLT-1 and available on SLE-2, while Driver Alert Package 2 comes on SLT-2.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 GMC Acadia?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,502 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.40% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 65.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $17,123, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 GMC Acadia's resale value?

The current average of $17,123 sits slightly below last year's $19,109.

That decline suggests the market has become more favorable for buyers, but it also means sellers may need to price competitively to move a used Acadia. If you are planning to sell later, the current trend implies that holding out for a premium may be harder unless your vehicle is especially clean, well-equipped, and well documented.

The good news is that the Acadia still has broad family appeal, especially for shoppers who want a refined three-row SUV with a smooth ride. Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.43/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2019 GMC Acadia safe?

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

The Acadia comes standard with front- and side-impact airbags, a reversing camera, and traction control. Driver Alert Package 1 adds blind-spot warning, lane-change alert, and rear park assist, while Driver Alert Package 2 adds low-speed forward automatic braking, lane-departure warning, pedestrian detection, forward-collision alert, adaptive headlights and high beams, rear cross-traffic alert, and front and rear parking sensors.

That means you can get a fairly comprehensive safety setup, but some of the more advanced driver-assistance features are tied to higher trims or packages rather than being standard across the lineup. If safety tech matters to you, focus on the SLT trims or verify that the right package is included on the vehicle you are considering.

Should I buy a 2019 GMC Acadia or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 65.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.40% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.43/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• Expert testing highlights its upscale cabin, strong V6 performance, and balanced daily driving manners.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $15,398, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $17,123 average.
• It broadens V6 availability and improves towing flexibility.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $19,919, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $17,123 average.
• It adds bolder styling, a new AT4 trim, and updated technology.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, refinement, and available equipment, the 2019 is the smart middle path. If you are focused on saving money, the 2018 is the better value play; if you want newer styling and updates, the 2020 is the step up to consider.
