Is the 2019 Ford Fusion a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Ford Fusion earns a 4.71/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its comfort, stylish looks, and the amount of features you get for the price, and many also like the strong performance in higher trims. With 31.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you also have a decent chance of finding a competitive price.

Is the 2019 Ford Fusion reliable?

Owners rate it 4.71/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Drivers’ feedback also points to a dependable ownership experience, with many describing the car positively over time and appreciating how well it serves as a daily driver. That said, some owners mention design and cosmetic complaints, so a careful used-car inspection still matters. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is ending up with a car that has been poorly maintained or has unresolved wear items.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Ford Fusion?

At 63.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any reported damage was repaired properly. Put inspection priority on body condition, panel alignment, and signs of past collision work, then verify that the interior and electronics match the seller’s description. Because condition varies across the market, focus on the specific car in front of you rather than assuming all listings are equivalent.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Ford Fusion?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 31.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,800 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.62% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 63.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $12,500, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Ford Fusion's resale value?

The current average of $12,500 sits slightly below last year's $13,679.

That softer pricing suggests the model has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help if you buy at the right number. If you keep the car in good condition and avoid overpaying up front, you may have a better chance of limiting future loss. Strong demand for well-kept examples can also help support resale when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.71/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Ford Fusion or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 31.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 63.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.62% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.71/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $11,706, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $12,500 average.
• It offers exceptional lineup variety across trims and powertrains.

The bottom line: Choose the 2019 if you want the stronger current-market balance of price, satisfaction, and deal availability. If your top priority is spending less upfront, the 2018 is the better value path, especially if you find one in excellent condition.
