How much does the 2019 Dodge Challenger cost?

There are 1,687 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2019 Dodge Challenger a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Dodge Challenger earns a 4.9/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its power, stylish design, and comfortable ride, and many appreciate the old-school muscle-car feel paired with modern features. It also fits well if you want a car that feels distinctive while still being usable every day. With 29.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Dodge Challenger reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback points to a car that owners feel good about living with over time, especially because of its comfortable ride and overall appeal. The strongest reliability-related takeaway from owner comments is that many drivers feel confident in the car’s long-term ownership experience, even if running costs can be higher than average. For used buyers, that means the bigger risk is usually condition and upkeep rather than broad owner dissatisfaction.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Dodge Challenger?

At 55.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has performance upgrades, modified suspension, or signs of hard use. Focus on overall condition, maintenance records, and whether the car has been cared for consistently rather than just chasing the lowest price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Dodge Challenger?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the best examples.

• Deal availability: 29.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,687 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.83% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 55.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $24,216, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Dodge Challenger's resale value?

The current average of $24,216 sits slightly below last year's $25,990.

That price movement suggests the market has softened, which can help you buy more affordably now but may also limit short-term appreciation if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at a strong price and keep the car in clean condition, you can reduce the impact of that depreciation. Demand should remain supported by the Challenger’s strong enthusiast appeal and broad popularity with shoppers who want a distinctive muscle car.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Dodge Challenger or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 29.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 55.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.83% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $27,871, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $24,216 average.
• It adds a 50th Anniversary package and some fresh color and interior choices.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2019 if you want the better value and are comfortable shopping carefully for condition. If you want the newer-year updates and are willing to pay more, the 2020 is the cleaner upgrade path. For price-sensitive buyers, the 2019 is the stronger starting point.
