How much does the 2019 Dodge Challenger cost?

Is the 2019 Dodge Challenger a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Dodge Challenger earns a 4.9/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its power, stylish design, and comfortable ride, and many appreciate the old-school muscle-car feel paired with modern features. It also fits well if you want a five-passenger coupe with a practical infotainment setup and a broad range of performance choices. Is the 2019 Dodge Challenger reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback repeatedly describes the Challenger as dependable in the sense that owners feel good about living with it over time, especially when it comes to its comfortable ride and satisfying performance. The same reviews also point to a car that many owners count on for its character and everyday usability, even with its muscle-car personality. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that higher running costs and condition-related wear can matter more than mileage alone.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Dodge Challenger?

At 58% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage. Then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has been modified, driven hard, or shows uneven wear. Focus on overall condition, because a Challenger that looks good on paper can still hide expensive issues if it has been used as a performance car.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Dodge Challenger?

This is a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 27.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,759 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.94% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 58.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $24,490, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Dodge Challenger's resale value?

The current average of $24,490 sits slightly below last year's $25,762.

That softer pricing suggests you may have less short-term appreciation potential if you buy at the wrong point in the market. On the other hand, it can also make the car easier to justify if you plan to keep it and want to avoid overpaying upfront. If you choose a well-kept example, the Challenger's strong enthusiast appeal can help support demand when you eventually sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Dodge Challenger or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 27.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 58% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.94% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $28,237, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $24,490 average.
• It adds new colors, extra interior choices, and a 50th Anniversary package for some trims.

The 2019 is the better primary path if you want the stronger value proposition and a wider pool of lower-priced listings. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2019 is especially compelling; if you want the newer-year updates and do not mind paying more, the 2020 is the cleaner secondary path.
