Used 2019 Chevrolet Trax for Sale near Chicago, IL
The 2019 Chevy Trax is an economical compact crossover. In order to keep the price low, Chevrolet keeps the crossover sparse. It goes into 2019 lately unchanged and can be had in LS, LT, and Premier trims. Two special models include the Midnight Edition and the Redline Edition. The Midnight gets special black paint, two-tone synthetic leather seats, black door handles, and other black exterior trim, including black badges. The Redline, meanwhile, gets a lot of black exterior trim as well, plus cloth and synthetic leather upholstery and either Silver Ice Metallic, Summit White, or Mosaic Black Metallic exterior paint. Both come with black 18-inch alloy wheels, but on the Redline they have red accent stripes.
The Chevy Trax’s 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine has the aid of a turbocharger, but the tiny engine manages just 138 horsepower and 148 pound-feet of torque. It’s a lighter automobile than it looks, at about 2,800 pounds, but the Trax is reportedly a little sluggish. The only transmission available is a 6-speed automatic. All-wheel drive (AWD) is an available option. Standard front-drive models will manage a respectable 26 mpg city, 31 highway, and 28 combined, while all-wheel drive versions drop to 24, 29, 26. Even though the engine is a turbo, it can still run on regular gasoline. Steering for the Trax is reportedly quick and light for an SUV, but to get proper disc brakes on all four wheels, buyers have to opt for all-wheel drive.
Trims include base and Premier. For the LT, the Chevy Trax’s interior is sparse. The seats are manual adjust, there’s lower-grade cloth upholstery—but nicer features are available. Optional features include six-way power-adjustable seats for the driver’s side, synthetic leather seats, heated front seats, a better stereo with Bose speakers, and a moonroof. All Trax models get Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The rear seats are surprisingly roomy in the Trax; it can accommodate either 18.7 cubic feet of cargo with the rear seats up or 48.4 cubic feet when they’re folded.
While the 2019 crash testings aren’t available, 2018 testings are available. In crash testing, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has given the Chevy Trax top Good scores in everything but the tricky small overlap test, in which it received an Acceptable rating. In the National Highway and Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) testing, the Trax gets five out of five stars overall. As for active safety features, buyers will have to shell out for the higher-tier models to get the good stuff. The range-topping Premier gets forward-collision and lane-departure warnings.

(12 reviews)Perfect size for my teenage daughter. Not too big and not too small. Shes short but this lets her sit up high to see the road and oncoming traffic. A slimmer vehicle so parking is easier.
Just buying it I am wary about giving a review til I have had it a while. I do like the features especially the AWD. The price was right for the mileage at 16,000. The trunk space is small but I am willing to trade it for the gas mileage and the AWD.
Cargo space too small to handle stuff a family. ,Just two suitcase space
Nice, but only has an analog speedometer, simple and easy to tell everything apart. Child lock was on passenger rear, a bit difficult to take off. A bit dirtier inside than the pictures stated. Rear passenger tire pressure sensor needs replacement and all new tires, they were already at the wear bar.
Beautifully made I would like to test drive the vehicle
