How much does the 2019 Chevrolet Suburban cost?

Prices have softened 13.65% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,355 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2019 Chevrolet Suburban a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2019 Chevrolet Suburban is built around space, capability, and long-haul usefulness, with room for up to nine people, up to 121.1 cubic feet of cargo space, and towing capacity of up to 8,300 pounds when properly configured. It also brings a more refined interior and modern technology, which helps it fit family hauling, cargo duty, and trailer work in one package. With 34.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Chevrolet Suburban reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2019 Chevrolet Suburban’s appeal comes from its established full-size-SUV formula: space, capability, and a cabin that was made more refined and higher-quality for this generation. It also offers useful technology and available driver-assistance features that support everyday usability. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a large, thirsty SUV can be costly to run if maintenance has been deferred or if the vehicle has been used hard for towing and family hauling.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Chevrolet Suburban?

At 58.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any reported damage was repaired properly. Then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially for signs of bodywork, uneven panel gaps, suspension wear, and evidence of heavy towing use. Focus on overall condition and maintenance records, since a large SUV like this can hide expensive wear if it has been used hard.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Chevrolet Suburban?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,355 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.65% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 58.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,877, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Chevrolet Suburban's resale value?

The current average of $22,877 sits slightly below last year's $26,494.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. Because this model is a large, capability-focused SUV, clean examples with strong records should remain easier to market than neglected ones.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Chevrolet Suburban or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 58.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.65% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of value, satisfaction, and current market softness, the 2019 is the primary year to target. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a cleaner or better-equipped example offers a better overall deal, but the 2019 already gives you a compelling balance of inventory, pricing, and owner approval.
