How much does the 2019 Chevrolet Suburban cost?

Prices have softened 12.55% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,402 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of used Suburbans to compare.

Is the 2019 Chevrolet Suburban a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Chevrolet Suburban earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. It’s built around space, capability, and long-haul usefulness, with room for up to nine people, up to 121.1 cubic feet of cargo space, and towing capacity of up to 8,300 pounds when properly configured. It also brings a more refined interior and modern tech, so it fits well if you want a large SUV that can handle family duty, cargo hauling, and trailer work.

With 32.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful chance to find a competitively priced example.

Is the 2019 Chevrolet Suburban reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2019 Suburban’s appeal comes from a familiar full-size SUV formula: lots of space, strong towing ability, and a cabin designed for long-haul usefulness. Its available equipment and technology help it feel more modern, while the overall layout is aimed at buyers who need one vehicle to do a lot of jobs well. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a large, thirsty SUV can be costly to run if maintenance or condition has been neglected.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Chevrolet Suburban?

At 57.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can catch signs of prior damage, uneven wear, or deferred maintenance. Focus on overall condition, especially how the body, interior, and mechanical systems have been treated, because a large SUV like this can hide expensive issues if it has had a hard life.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Chevrolet Suburban?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find value.

• Deal availability: 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,402 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.55% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 57.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,874, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Chevrolet Suburban's resale value?

The current average of $22,874 sits slightly below last year's $26,156.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can work against you if you plan to sell soon. On the other hand, it may help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. If you keep the vehicle in strong condition and maintain it well, you can help protect its future appeal when it’s time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Chevrolet Suburban or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 57.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.55% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of value, owner satisfaction, and current market softness, the 2019 is the one to target first. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2019’s current market position.
