Used 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD for Sale near Vermont

How much does the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD cost?

Prices have softened 7.15% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 690 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for this model year, and the overview backs up why it appeals to heavy-duty truck shoppers. It is positioned as a serious work truck with substantial towing and payload capability, a roomy cabin, and a ride that is softer and quieter than you might expect for something this large. It also balances brute strength with everyday comfort, especially if you are looking at higher trims.

For you, that means this Silverado 3500HD makes the most sense if you need real hauling ability and want a truck that still feels manageable in daily use. The market also shows 29.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview points to a truck built around durability and heavy-duty capability, with the kind of chassis and powertrain choices that suit demanding use. It is not presented as the most luxurious or most efficient option, but it is described as a strong mix of durability, modern features, and capability.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about comfort and more about how hard the truck was worked, so condition and maintenance history matter a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD?

At 69.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean trucks from those with accident records or other red flags. After that, prioritize a thorough inspection of the frame, suspension, brakes, tires, and any signs of heavy towing or commercial use. Because this is a heavy-duty truck, overall condition and evidence of how it was used matter more than cosmetic wear alone.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully without expecting deep discounts on every listing.

• Deal availability: 29.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 690 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.15% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 69.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $39,852, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD's resale value?

The current average of $40,040 sits slightly below last year's $43,125.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more favorably now but may also limit upside if you plan to sell soon. For a future seller, the key is to buy well and keep the truck in strong condition so you can protect value when it is time to move on. Heavy-duty trucks can hold buyer interest when they are clean, well maintained, and clearly not overworked.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 29.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 69.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.15% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 is a strong choice if you want a heavy-duty Silverado with solid capability, a favorable price trend, and a broad pool of listings to compare. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to focus on the best-priced examples and be selective about condition, while buyers who want the strongest mix of value and satisfaction can make a good case for this year.
