How much does the 2019 Chevrolet Impala cost?

Prices have softened 9.30% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 511 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2019 Chevrolet Impala a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Chevrolet Impala earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its great value, spacious interior, and strong performance, and they also like the smooth ride and easy-to-use tech. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a roomy, comfortable full-size sedan with straightforward technology and a lot of space for the money. With 24.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful shopping opportunity.

Is the 2019 Chevrolet Impala reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience for many shoppers, with praise centered on the car’s overall value and comfort. That said, some owners mention issues like the auto stop feature and mismatched tires, so you should still pay close attention to maintenance history and current condition. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is buying a car that has been poorly maintained or has unresolved wear items.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Chevrolet Impala?

At 52.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can confirm accident records, title status, and ownership patterns before you commit. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has higher mileage or incomplete service documentation. Focus your condition check on bodywork, tire wear, and how smoothly the car drives, since those details can reveal whether a lower-priced listing is truly a good value.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Chevrolet Impala?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile opportunities.

• Deal availability: 24.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 511 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.30% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 52.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $13,718, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Chevrolet Impala's resale value?

The current average of $13,811 sits slightly below last year's $15,228.

That price movement suggests the model has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help future sellers if they buy at the right price today. Because the market has softened, your resale outcome will depend heavily on how well you preserve condition and documentation. A clean history and strong maintenance record should matter more when it comes time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Chevrolet Impala or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 24.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 52.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.30% compared with last year.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of value, comfort, and available inventory, the 2019 is the primary year to target. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a cleaner or better-equipped example is available at a similar out-the-door cost.
