Why it stands out
The 2019 Chevrolet Equinox is a well-rounded compact SUV that captivates buyers with its spacious interior, smooth ride, and commendable fuel efficiency. Following a redesign in the previous year, it now features noteworthy upgrades like HD rear-view and surround-view cameras, which significantly improve visibility—a common concern among drivers of compact SUVs. With a choice of three engines, including a powerful 2.0-liter turbocharged option, the Equinox caters to those seeking both performance and efficiency. While it boasts a strong user rating and several appealing features, prospective buyers should consider the available trims carefully; entry-level versions may lack key amenities that enhance the overall driving experience.
